摘要: A gravity cooling unit having at least one pair of cooling columns with each column having a plurality of cooling fins mounted on one more serpentine cooling coils carrying a refrigerant. The unit has mounting means for use in mounting the unit against a ceiling. The pair of cooling columns are fixed to the mounting means to have the long axis of their fins angled toward each other to form a downwardly diverging air space between them, and to have the short, upper side of their fins adjacent the ceiling, when the unit is mounted on the ceiling, to minimize air flow between the columns and the ceiling. A condensate collector is provided under each column wide enough to extend beneath each coil in the column.

摘要: A modular manifold is adapted for use with hydronic circulation systems including a plurality of first and second thermal exchange zones having respective zone supply and zone return lines. The modular manifold includes a plurality of modules, each of which includes a selectively actuatable fluid control mechanism having an inlet and an outlet. The outlet of each selectively actuatable fluid control mechanism is in fluid communication with a respective zone supply line of the zone of the hydronic circulation system. Each module further includes a common return conduit section secured to the selectively actuatable fluid control mechanism. A common supply conduit section is secured to the selectively actuatable fluid control mechanism of each module. The common supply conduit section is in fluid communication with the inlet of the selectively actuatable fluid control mechanism. The modules are adapted and constructed to be connected together, with the collective common return conduit sections fitting together to form a common return conduit in communication with the return lines of the thermal exchange zones, and the collective common supply conduit sections fitting together to form a common supply conduit. The selectively actuatable fluid control mechanisms can be provided as any suitable control mechanism, such as zone pumps or zone valves. A connecting conduit having a first end connected to the common return conduit and a second end connected to the common supply conduit can be provided in the form of a U-bend. An injection mechanism having an inlet connected to a source of thermal exchange fluid and an outlet connected to the connecting conduit can also be provided. The injection mechanism can be provided as an injection pump or an injection mixing valve. A temperature gauge can be connected to the connecting conduit at a location downstream from the injection mechanism outlet. The temperature gauge indicates the temperature of fluid flowing into the common supply conduit. Tee connectors can be provided to connect the modules together, and can include a return inlet conduit connected to the zone return line of the first thermal exchange zone.

摘要: A mobile heating system for providing hot liquids is provided. System includes a trailer mounted liquid heater, an exit manifold for distribution through hoses, a return system communicating with a return manifold in communication with a return reservoir for storing heated liquid such that by providing incremental heat through the liquid heater to the return material sufficient energy is maintained to allow atmospheric 220+ degree liquid to be circulated within the system. In one aspect of the system, by means of contact with the hot hoses, a substance is used for thawing ground, heat, melting snow and ice, curing cement, and the like. In another aspect, the liquid is water used to provide for example, hygienic liquid or hot water for field showers. In a further aspect, the apparatus can be hooked into the hose line to provide for example, radiated heat for convection into space, such as in construction of a building, house and the like.

摘要: A control cabinet having a cabinet body with opened sides which can be closed at least partially by one or more side walls. An air conditioning device which is placed near at least one side wall rejects heat generated inside the cabinet body or guides it towards the inside of the cabinet body. This invention simplifies the design of the air conditioning device. For this purpose, an intermediate wall which is parallel to the side wall and located at a distance therefrom, is placed in such a way that it is oriented towards the inside of the cabinet body. In addition, the air conditioning device is placed in the intermediate space surrounded by the side wall and the intermediate wall.

摘要: In a vehicle air conditioner having manually operated operation members of an air-conditioning operation panel, rotation shafts of an air mixing door and a mode switching rotary door are disposed in a vehicle front-rear direction, so that an axial direction of the rotation shafts of the doors is made the same as that of rotation shafts of the operation members of the air-conditioning operation panel. Accordingly, operation force of the operation members can be directly transmitted to the rotation shafts of the doors by a simple structure.

摘要: A hydronic thermal heating panel made of cementitious material. The panel is made of Portland cement or any other cement that cures to a stony like hardness. The cement may include sand and reinforcing fibers, such as glass, polymer, or wood fibers. Like other hydronic panels, one or more groves are deep enough to entirely receive a hydronic pipe. The panel has backing material to provide strength or sufficient thickness of cementitious material beneath each groove to give adequate strength. The panel may be adhered with mortar or other adhesive or with nails or screws. The panels may be covered with mortar and tile or with any other flooring material.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling the temperature in a climate chamber (21), in which a flow of air is guided through the climate chamber (21), the temperature of which air flow is controlled with the aid of a heat exchanger, and the air flow is brought to the desired temperature with the aid of a first heat exchanger prior to or during the introduction of the air flow into the climate chamber, and in which method the air flow in the climate chamber (21) is forced past a second heat exchanger, during which process any heating or cooling of the air flow is negated. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the above method.

摘要: A radiant heating system for installation or a subfloor. Header panels having arcuate cutouts are secured on the subfloor near opposite walls of a room. Spaced apart sleepers are secured to extend between the header panels and provide channels that receive radiant heating tubing. The cutouts are initially occupied by break away header plates which can be detached to allow the tubing to curve through the cutouts so that it can extend between the ends of adjacent channels. The cutouts can be inserted back into the cutouts to secure the tubing bends in place. Heat conductive panels overlie the sleepers and channels and can be overlaid with finished flooring.
