摘要： A firearm grip with locking mechanism includes an elongated handgrip body having an elongated opening on the front side and a generally hollow interior space. A pair of doors are pivotally secured to the handgrip body to move between a closed position, and an open position. A firearm engagement body is pivotally secured along the top end of the handgrip body for attachment to a firearm receiver at a location adjacent to the trigger assembly. The handgrip body moves between a FIRE position where the handgrip body is positioned perpendicular to the engagement body, and a SAFE position where the handgrip body is positioned parallel to the engagement body and the firearm trigger assembly is located within the interior space of the handgrip body.

摘要： A disconnector for pistols having a trigger bar uses a body rotatably mounted on the pistol frame to permit or prevent engagement between the trigger bar and the pistol's sear. The body has a plurality of surfaces, one of which engages the trigger bar and pivots it between a safe orientation, out of alignment with the pistol's sear, and a fire orientation, aligned with the sear, when the body rotates between a safe position and a fire position. Another body surface engages the slide, the body being rotated into the safe position when the slide is out of battery. Another surface engages a grip safety and another surface engages a manual safety. Both safeties effect rotation of the body between the safe and fire positions when they are actuated.

摘要： A safety assembly for a rifle having a pistol grip extending from a receiver, the receiver having an operative safety shaft rotatable between a safety position and a fire position, the shaft positioned above and rearwardly of the trigger, and above and forward of the pistol grip. The shaft rotatable 90 degrees between a safe position and a fire position, a thumb engagement handle having an angled gripping portion angled from the shaft downwardly and rearwardly for the fire position and rearwardly and upwardly in the safe position, whereby the positioning allows that when the firearm is operated and the user grips the pistol grip, the user does not need to release and/or rotate the pistol grip to switch between fire and safe positions of the safety shaft with the thumb of the gripping hand.

摘要： A firearm grip with selector switch lock includes a handgrip for engaging a firearm receiver having a selector switch. A switch engagement unit is positioned within the handgrip. The switch engagement unit including a motor, piston, spring and detent for selectively engaging the selector switch of the receiver to which the handgrip is located. An RFID interrogator is positioned within the handgrip and communicates with a portable RFID chip. Upon detecting the presence of the RFID chip, the switch engagement unit moves the piston to the retracted position for manual free operation of the selector switch. Upon detecting the RFID chip is not within the proximity of the handgrip, the switch engagement unit moves the piston to the extended/SAFE position. A replacement selector switch having a torque limiter is provided.

摘要： A lock for a firearm is disclosed. The firearm has a grip safety and a sear engageable to a biased hammer in a cocked position and releasable by a trigger. The lock includes a housing defining a bore within which a mainspring biasing the hammer is revived. A latch is rotatably mounted to the housing and has a grip safety arm and a cam follower, and has a first rotational excursion with the grip safety arm in engagement with and restricting the grip safety to block movement of the trigger, and an opposed second rotational excursion with the grip safety arm in disengagement from the grip safety to unblock depression of the grip safety and movement of the trigger. An actuator is mounted to the housing and cooperatively linked to the latch, and provides motive force for positioning the larch in the first rotational excursion and the second rotational excursion.

摘要： A spring-loaded safety button is mounted in an opening in the forward end of a gun stock so that it will naturally fall beneath and be depressed by, the thumb on the trigger hand of the person firing the gun. In one embodiment the button registers with the rear end of a pivotal lever, the forward end of which has thereon a hook which normally engages the rim of the firing pin to prevent the gun from being fired until the button is depressed to swing the lever in a direction to disengage the hook from the firing pin. In a second embodiment the button has a shank which extends slidably downwardly behind the trigger of the gun. A projection on the shank normally engages the rear of the trigger to prevent it from being operated, but when the button is depressed the projection registers with a notch in the back of the trigger to allow the latter to be pivoted to fire the gun.
