摘要: A system and method for managing one or more firearms having an authentication device is described. The method may receive a profile of one or more firearm users. The profile of the one or more firearm users may be registered to access one or more authentication devices coupled to one or more firearms. A usage of the one or more firearms coupled to the authentication devices may be tracked via the profile of the firearm user. The system can include a central server, a secure management station with a secure application, a docking station, a respective firearm lock or authentication device for each firearm and an enrollment station, each communicating in a secure manner, to globally manage a plurality of firearms.

摘要: A weapon release safety system comprises an active state, an inactive state, and a tracking system. When in the inactive state, the weapon release safety system can indicate that a weapon has not been drawn from a storage therefor. When in the active state, the weapon release safety system can indicate that the weapon has been drawn from the storage therefor. The weapon release safety system can be in the inactive state while the weapon is within a proximity of the storage, and the weapon release safety system can be in the active state while the weapon is not within the proximity of the storage. The tracking system can be configured to track a number of times that the weapon has been drawn from the storage by a bearer.

摘要: A system and method for determining an orientation of a firearm includes a first position sensor, a second position sensor and a transmitter. The first position sensor can be disposed at a first location on the firearm. The second position sensor can be disposed at a second location on the firearm. The first and second locations can be distinct and define a line parallel to an axis of a barrel of the firearm. The transmitter can be configured to communicate a signal. The first and second position sensors receive the signal from the transmitter and determine one of an orientation and a heading of the firearm based on the signal.

摘要: A weapon assembly includes a weapon; a weapon holster configured to receive and support at least a portion of the weapon; and a controller that includes a biometric sensor and a weapon activation sensor. The controller perform operations including transmitting a signal generated by the weapon activation sensor that is indicative of at least one of a release of the portion of the weapon from the weapon holster or a discharge of the weapon; and transmitting a signal generated by the biometric sensor indicative of a biometric state of a user of the weapon subsequent to the release of the portion of the weapon from the weapon holster or the discharge of the weapon. The signal generated by the biometric sensor is processable by a control system to generate a biometric feedback to determine a predictive diagnosis for the user.

摘要: Devices, systems, computer program products and methods for detecting gunshots is provided. The method and associated system can include a device which is coupled to a user or firearm. The device can include an accelerometer and a microphone for detecting movements and sounds, respectively. The device can be trained by firing rounds from the firearm under predetermined conditions. Analysis of the training results in creating a data signature for the particular firearm. Gunshots can be then detected by using the data signature and comparing the data signature to the movements and/or sounds captured. The number of rounds left in the firearm can then be displayed to the user for easy viewing.

摘要: The present invention generally relates to an attachment for a firearm that communicates with remote device or person such as emergency services. One embodiment of the present invention is selectively interconnected to a picatinny rail, weaver rail, or other mounting means, and the embodiment includes a button that allows a user to initiate communication with emergency services without removing his or her hands from the firearm.

摘要: The invention relates to an electronic device that is used to block the accessibility of a firearms Trigger. Wherein an electronic device is mounted on a rail or rail accessory and is locked in place using a lock and frame allowing the device to fit an array of firearms. The lock and frame are in place to stop easy removal unless the possessor has the key to remove them. The device its self uses a battery to operate and picks up or sends a broadcasted transmission within a programmed range by the use of a printed circuit board (PCB) capable of receiving or sending a broadcasted transmission. Once the transmission has been picked up or sent and received it activates the electronic devices locking mechanism in the form of a electromechanical mechanism causing it to shift and allows a slide placed in front of the trigger acting as a second trigger to move back and forth allowing the movement of the firearms trigger. The slide is moved back into its original position by the use of a spring driven mechanism. When the worn device or the electronic device is out of the programmed range, the electromechanical mechanism returns to its locked state stopping access to the trigger. Making the trigger locking device a beneficial reusable safety device.

摘要: A modular system for preventing the unauthorized use of a firearm is provided. The system includes a safety module that is configured to attach to a firearm using a standard rail mount found on most firearms. The safety module includes a trigger bar that is configured to extend from the safety module to behind or through the side of the trigger of the firearm. The safety module further includes a locking mechanism that, in a first state, prevents the trigger bar from moving rearward and thereby also prevents the trigger from being pulled. The locking mechanism further includes a second state where the trigger bar is allowed to move with the trigger thereby allowing the trigger to be pulled.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, are described for implementing a smart firearm safety device. The safety device attaches to a firearm having a trigger and a slot for receiving a magazine. The safety device includes a locking mechanism that attaches to the trigger to preclude depressing a trigger of the firearm and a sensor that determines an orientation of the firearm or a relative motion of the firearm to indicate detected movement of the firearm. The safety device also includes a radio device that receives parameter signals from the sensor indicating movement of the firearm. The radio device communicates with a component of a property monitoring system to receive a command to engage the locking mechanism to preclude depressing the trigger of the firearm based on parameter signals indicating a particular type of detected movement of the firearm.
