摘要： A cartridge infeed apparatus for an automatic firing weapon comprising a conveyor channel, one side wall of which possesses a slot which is essentially parallel to the axis of the weapon. Partially extending into this slot is a cartridge located in the conveyor channel and which cartridge is to be inserted by the breechblock of the weapon into the weapon barrel. There are further provided two pivotable guide arms which, under the action of spring means, press the cartridge towards the aforementioned slot perpendicular to the direction of conveying of such cartridge. At the side of the guide arms opposite the cartridge there is arranged a pivotable pawl mechanism at which there is present a cam with control surfaces, said cam serving to actuate the pawl mechanism and bearing at a further cartridge located in the cartridge conveying direction behind the first-mentioned cartridge. The pawl mechanism can be rocked out of a work position, in which it is positioned behind the guide arms during the insertion of the cartridge, into a rest position in which the guide arms are rocked against the force of the spring means.

摘要： The cartridge extraction post comprises a central star wheel rotor keyed on a longitudinal shaft whose axis is situated in the vertical plane of symmetry of the assembly of the feed at a level such that the star wheels project into the central upper zone of a transverse passage, formed of two opposite passages. The linkfreed cartridges are removed by a pusher operating longitudinally passing through an opening formed in a central zone of the floor of the transverse passage. A fixed support cam in the central zone of the extraction station at the level passed by the back of the links is positioned over at least the fraction of the transverse passage in which the extraction of the cartridges occurs when the cartridge belt passes in the direction F2 reverse to the conventional direction F1 for which the hooks of the links are directed forwardly. The feed lends itself to routeing of the cartridge belt, either in the conventional direction F1 (hooks of the links directed forwardly) for which there is no risk of breakage of the belt by unhooking in the extraction phase, or in the reverse direction F2 (eyes of the links directed forwardly) the cam then resisting lifting and unhooking of the link in the extraction phase under the effect of the upward reaction then exerted on this link which continues to travel in the direction F2 under the action of the rotor thereby correctly driving the following link and the remainder of the belt.

摘要： A discharge duct arrangement for discharging belt links of a disintegrating cartridge belt from a firearm. The discharge duct arrangement is particularly adapted for belt links consisting of a double clip for holding a cartridge, a single clip for connecting the link to the next adjacent cartridge and a bracket connecting the double clip to the single clip. Three guide tracks are arranged in the discharge duct for slidably engaging the respective single clip, double clip and bracket as the links pass through the duct. These guide tracks are positioned such that only two of the tracks engage the belt at any given time and such that the belt link is inclined slightly as it is guided through the duct. When used with a pivotable turret, rotation of the duct with the turret may cause a tilting of the belt clip and consequent disengagement from one of the guide tracks and engagement with another previously disengaged guide track, with the third guide track remaining in engagement. Two similar discharge ducts can be arranged mirror-like in a common rotatable support at opposite sides of a cartridge ejection duct also in the support.
