摘要: A temperature-controlled pressure regulator assembly includes a regulator having a regulator body, a valve seat, an inlet, an outlet, and defines a flow passage connecting the inlet and the outlet. A control element controls the device, a portion of the flow passage extends through a heat chamber, and a heater is positioned to heat the chamber thereby conveying heat to a fluid in the flow passage. A controller is electrically coupled to the heater and is coupled to a power source. A thermal cut-off fuse is coupled to a control circuit, with the thermal cut-off fuse arranged to electrically decouple the heater from the control circuit in response to a temperature exceeding a threshold, thereby deactivating the heater. The thermal cut-off fuse is disposed in a circular fuse holder and positioned adjacent the heater and adjacent a longitudinal center of the heat chamber.

The selection system comprises a pressure-motion transducer for directing the set pressure when in pressure communication with the inlet, and an auxiliary valve having an auxiliary inlet in pressure communication with the inlet and an auxiliary outlet in pressure communication with the pressure-motion transducer. The auxiliary valve is configured to establish pressure communication between its inlet and outlet when pressure in the inlet traverses a predetermined threshold.

摘要: A control system for controlling the storage of metabolically active produce in a defined confined environment. The control system comprises gas analyzing and pressure measurement means including a control unit for determining an adjusted gas medium composition of the confined environment for protecting the produce against metabolic degradation. An operating/actuating means for adapting the gas medium in the confined storage environment is based on the determined adjusted gas medium composition. The control unit is adapted for determining the adjusted gas medium composition based on a mathematical model of the system that determines a metabolic coefficient of the produce by combining measured changes of gas composition in the confined environment with dynamic pressure changes in the confined space. The value of the metabolic coefficient is used as input for a control algorithm to continuously adjust the gas composition in the confined space in response to the metabolic activity of the produce.

摘要: A pressure regulator includes a valve body that defines an inlet and an outlet for a fluid flow through the valve body, a poppet that is moveable within the valve body between an open position and a closed position to control the fluid flow from the inlet to the outlet, and a pressure regulating mechanism that controls a position of the poppet between the open and closed positions. The pressure regulating mechanism includes a diaphragm and a compression spring, and a force balance between the diaphragm and the compression spring determines the position of the poppet. The pressure regulating mechanism further includes a static pressure tap configured to apply a static pressure to the diaphragm, and a dynamic pressure tap configured to apply a dynamic pressure to the diaphragm. The dynamic pressure tap is located at an annular opening adjacent to the poppet, and an area of the annular opening varies with the position of the poppet to vary the dynamic pressure applied to the diaphragm.

摘要: A pressure regulator, said pressure regulator comprising a housing containing a channel arranged to communicate a fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet, said channel comprising a valve seat housing, a valve seat and closure member with said closure member operable with the valve seat and valve seat housing to control flow through the channel; wherein the housing comprises a resilient diaphragm in fluid communication with the fluid and in physical communication with the closure member such that the diaphragm is operable to deform in response to a change in pressure of the fluid and such that deformation of the diaphragm causes the closure member to change position, and; wherein the section of the diaphragm not in fluid communication with the channel, is in fluid communication with the exterior of the regulator via a vent aperture and; wherein the closure member comprises an upstream valve element and downstream valve element, wherein the downstream valve element is a ridge operable with an aperture in the valve seat housing to at least partially control fluid flow, wherein said ridge of the closure member is partially or fully inside said aperture in the valve seat housing when the upstream valve element of the closure member is at or between the fully open position and a predetermined partially open position with the valve seat, to provide a restriction to fluid flow but not to fully obstruct flow.

摘要: A novel and improved inventive valve with a regulating function is provided that is capable of filling to higher fill pressures than previously attainable with conventional C-10 “on-off” valves. The valve contains a single flow passageway by which gas dispenses and enters the valve. A fill adapter is specially configured to engage the valve to allow filling at the higher pressures along the single flow passageway. The structure of the valve allows greater utilization of cylinder capacity; simplifies filling and dispensing with the single flow passageway; and allows for regulating gas pressure during delivery without increasing the overall size of the cylinder package.
