摘要: A temperature-controlled pressure regulator assembly includes a regulator having a regulator body, a valve seat, an inlet, an outlet, and defines a flow passage connecting the inlet and the outlet. A control element controls the device, a portion of the flow passage extends through a heat chamber, and a heater is positioned to heat the chamber thereby conveying heat to a fluid in the flow passage. A controller is electrically coupled to the heater and is coupled to a power source. A thermal cut-off fuse is coupled to a control circuit, with the thermal cut-off fuse arranged to electrically decouple the heater from the control circuit in response to a temperature exceeding a threshold, thereby deactivating the heater. The thermal cut-off fuse is disposed in a circular fuse holder and positioned adjacent the heater and adjacent a longitudinal center of the heat chamber.

摘要: A valve element of a pressure reducing valve includes a taper portion seated on an inner periphery of a valve hole that includes a first area, a second area and a third area in order from an upstream side. The first area is provided such that, when the valve element is open, the height of a passage defined between the first area and the taper portion gradually reduces toward a downstream side. The second area is provided such that the height of a passage defined between the second area and the taper portion is constant when the valve element is open and the entire second area contacts the taper portion when the valve element is closed. The third area is provided such that, when the valve element is open, the height of a passage defined between the third area and the taper portion gradually increases toward the downstream side.

摘要: Embodiments of a valve device that reduces noise and vibration that may occur during low flow conditions in fluid couplings (e.g., valves and flow regulators). These embodiments utilize a plug and seat arrangement with geometry to prevent pressure differentials that cause the plug element to open and close in a cyclic pattern. In one embodiment, the valve device includes a seat element with an aperture and a plug element with a boss that extends into the aperture when the plug element contacts the seat element. The boss has an outer surface that forms a gap, which defines an annular area proximate the point of contact between the seat element and the plug element that is sized to reduce Venturi flow effects that cause the cyclic pattern to occur.

摘要: Noise attenuation apparatus for pressure regulators are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first noise attenuator disposed at a first position in a fluid passageway of a pressure regulator and a second noise attenuator disposed at a second position in the fluid passageway. The second position is spaced apart from the first position along the fluid passageway. The example apparatus also includes fasteners extending between the first noise attenuator and the second noise attenuator to position the first noise attenuator at the first position and the second noise attenuator at the second position. The fasteners are to couple to peripheral portions of the noise attenuators.

摘要: A pressure regulator, said pressure regulator comprising a housing containing a channel arranged to communicate a fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet, said channel comprising a valve seat housing, a valve seat and closure member with said closure member operable with the valve seat and valve seat housing to control flow through the channel; wherein the housing comprises a resilient diaphragm in fluid communication with the fluid and in physical communication with the closure member such that the diaphragm is operable to deform in response to a change in pressure of the fluid and such that deformation of the diaphragm causes the closure member to change position, and; wherein the section of the diaphragm not in fluid communication with the channel, is in fluid communication with the exterior of the regulator via a vent aperture and; wherein the closure member comprises an upstream valve element and downstream valve element, wherein the downstream valve element is a ridge operable with an aperture in the valve seat housing to at least partially control fluid flow, wherein said ridge of the closure member is partially or fully inside said aperture in the valve seat housing when the upstream valve element of the closure member is at or between the fully open position and a predetermined partially open position with the valve seat, to provide a restriction to fluid flow but not to fully obstruct flow.

摘要: The pressure reduction valve includes: a cylindrical portion, a piston and a spring. The cylindrical portion includes an inlet communicating with the primary side flow path and an outlet communicating with the secondary side flow path. The piston fitted into the cylindrical portion is slidable along an axis direction of the cylindrical portion within the cylindrical portion, and defines, within the cylindrical portion, a space communicating with the inlet and the outlet. The spring applies, to the piston, a force acting toward the space. The outlet is displaced in one direction from the center of the piston when seen in the axis direction. The force applied to the piston by the spring is distributed so as to deviate from the center of the piston to the side of the outlet.
