摘要： Processing raw data stored in an historian device for determining an amount of products passed through a process element in a process control environment is described. A count value is incremented by a counter at a rate at which products pass through the process element. The count value rolls over to zero when the count value reaches a rollover value R. An historian device periodically receives count value data points from the counter. A deadband value D is set in the historian device for distinguishing between rollovers, resets, and reversals. A client device queries the historian device for an amount of products passed through the process element for a timeframe. The historian device selects a set of count value data points from within the queried timeframe. The historian device determines, based on the selected data points and their quality, an amount of products passed through the process element.

摘要： Geared drive for reset trip odometer in which a transfer tooth on each of the rotatable odometer wheels is immediately ahead of the tooth space in the circular track on the wheels for tracking the wide teeth of the associated transfer pinion gear and laterally clear of the narrow pinion teeth. With the wide teeth normally riding on the track of the wheel, there is a gear locking action if a reverse drive occurs to limit wheel droop from a reference line and anti-locking action when reset is attempted so that the wheels can be forwardly driven to record trip distances.

摘要： A plurality of presettable digit wheels are rotatably mounted on a first axis. Each of said wheels is rotatable to a plurality of preset positions corresponding to respective values of an associated digit position of a preselected count. Retaining means retain said presettable wheels in said preset positions during a counting operation of the counter. A signal generator comprises axially movable cam follower means arranged to generate a signal when said counter has counted to said preselected count. A plurality of presetting members are associated with respective ones of said presettable wheels and pivoted to a stationary first pivot. At portions remote from said first pivot, said presetting members are engaged by a guide member, which is pivotally movable between first and second positions to move said presetting members about said pivot out of and into engagement with said presettable wheels. First spring means are adapted to urge said guide member to said first position. The presetting members are displaceable relative to said pivot and said guide member to rotate said presettable wheels when said presetting members are in engagement with said presettable wheels.

摘要： A device adapted for special use in a reset timer/counter unit to return various digital counting subwheels to their reset condition after a timing or counting cycle. The device includes a first ring formed from a permanently magnetizable material having a generally circular first pole surface with a set of opposite polarity magnetic poles arranged in a selected pole pattern on the first pole surface and means for securing the first ring onto one of the subwheels or other device to be returned to a selected position. The second ring formed from a permanently magnetizable material is provided with a generally circular second pole surface generally facing the first pole surface and having opposite polarity magnetic poles arranged in a pole pattern matching the selected pattern of the first surface with poles of the first surface generally facing opposite polarity poles of the second surface when the members to be controlled are in a selected angular returned, or known, position.

摘要： Improved electromagnetic counter of either addition or deduction type of which digit wheels can be reset at zero or any preset nemeral value by depressing a resetting button is provided. The resetting button is normally locked in non-operative state but the lock is released as required by inserting a separate enabling key for actuating resetting mechanism associated with the button. The button lock means is detachable so that the button may be of either normally non-operative or freely operative type as desired. In the case of deduction type and a presetting mechanism including presetting buttons is provided, the presetting buttons are normally locked in non-operative state and the lock is released to be operative simmultaneously with the actuation of the resetting mechanism. The presetting and counting mechanisms are provided with respective improved means for maintaining accurate counting and presetting of digit wheels in association with the lockable resetting mechanism.

摘要： An electrically driven decimal counter adapted to count motions such as revolutions, and to control various operations in a predetermined number of repeating steps. At least two rotatable counting members are mounted for relative movement along their common axis so as selectively to be drivingly connected and disengaged. One of the counting members carries means for controlling a first switch mechanism for transferring impulses to the next stage of the counter, such switch mechanism also receiving zeroing impulses. The other counting member has a means for controlling a second switch mechanism, which is adapted to be interposed in an electric circuit for a machine. The mechanism for disengaging the one counting member from the second constitutes a mechanical controlling member for the second counting member.

THE SIGNAL GENERATOR COMPRISES A ROTATABLE SHAFT AND A FIRST GEAR MEANS COUPLED TO THE DRIVEN GEAR TRAIN FOR ROTATING THE MAIN DRIVE SHAFT DURING THE COUNTING OPERATION. A SECOND GEAR MEANS COUPLED TO THE RESET GEAR TRAIN ROTATES THE SHAFT TO A HOME POSITION DURING THE RESETTING OPERATION.
