    摘要: A reversing switch for use in a rechargeable hand tool, the switch being located between the battery and the electric motor and being in direct contact with both. The switch has an actuator pivotally connected to an insulating mounting support which also holds two transfer terminals, one connected to each of two terminals of the battery, and a contact carrier which is rotatably connected to the support and coupled to the actuator in order to be rotated by the pivoting of the actuator. Pivot contacts are attached to the contact carrier displaced from one another to provide a space for the parallel leads of the electric motor. Pivoting of the actuator reverses the connection of battery terminals to the motor leads and, accordingly, reverses the direction of the electric motor. The transfer terminals have recharging contacts which are accessible through ports in the housing of the hand tool to allow recharging of the battery without removing it from the rest of the tool.

    摘要: A dual power automatic transfer switch mechanism comprises a switch housing; a first spring; a second spring; a first pin which is disposed to correspond to a first power supply, the first spring acts between the first pin and the switch housing; and a second pin which is disposed to correspond to a second power supply, the second spring acts between the second pin and the switch housing. The dual power automatic transfer switch mechanism further comprises a first driving disk is configured to actuate the first pin moves between a first power-on position and a first power-off position; and a second driving disk is configured to actuate the second pin moves between a second power-on position and a second power-off position. The first and second driving disk are configured to rotate synchronously such that the first and the second pin cannot be in the power-on position at the same time.

    摘要: A reversing switch comprises a mounting plate assembly with a hub adapted to extend forwardly through a wall of an explosion proof enclosure. A shaft is journaled for both rotational and axial movement in the hub. A stationary contact assembly consists of a first set of four evenly circumferentially spaced contacts, each with a connecting terminal, mounted on an insulator base. A movable contact assembly consists of a second set of four evenly circumferentially spaced contacts mounted on an electrical insulating member connected to the shaft. Adjacent pairs of the movable contacts are interconnected. The shaft has an external handle with a unique cam and rotatable eccentric pivot connection for moving the shaft axially to engage or disengage the contacts when the handle is pivoted forward and backward a half turn, and for rotating the shaft to reverse the contacts when the handle is rotated a quarter turn. One or more control switches between the contact assemblies are actuated by relative movement between the contact assemblies for a variety of control and monitoring functions. A spring normally urges the contacts apart.
