    摘要： A test switch for use in electrical power distribution networks is provided. The test switch facilitates the connection between the power distribution networks' equipment and test equipment used to effect tests on the power distribution networks' equipment. The test switch has a solidifying base which decouples the fastening of the body of the switch to the base of the test switch from the fastening of the test switch on an external surface/equipment. Various locking mechanisms for preventing use of or tampering with the test switch are also provided.

    摘要： An apparatus for a photovoltaic system in which multiple poles are connectable with multiple fuses is provided. The apparatus includes a rotor configured to occupy at least first and second rotational angles, a disconnect unit including a plurality of interrupter housings respectively configured to connect at least one of the multiple poles with at least one of the multiple fuses in accordance with a rotational angle of the rotor, at least one of the plurality of the interrupter housings being mutually connectable, a transmission unit disposed and configured to electrically combine the multiple poles into a lesser number of the multiple poles, a housing sized to house the rotor, the disconnect unit and the transmission unit and an actuator arm disposed at the exterior of the housing and configured to be selectively actuated to cause the rotor to occupy the at least one of the rotational angles.

    摘要： An emergency vehicle circuit breaker having a non conductive base plate with two contacts thereon spaced apart to form a non conductive gap, one contact connected to a battery and one contact to an electric starter motor. A non conductive front plate is attached to the non conductive base plate by a hinge with a third contact thereon aligned with the gap to form an electrical contact between the two contacts on the base plate and a cable means for remote manual movement of the front plate toward and away from the base plate whereby the third contact may be engaged and disengaged from the gap, thereby making and breaking an electrical circuit.

    摘要： A low profile heavy duty manually operated double break electrical switch having a molded insulated housing with interior walls dividing the interior of the housing into isolated switching chambers for the different phases to be switched. A rotor journalled by the housing mounts a plurality of switching blades which respectively engage separate line and load contacts. Each load contact is formed from a strip of metal and is supported by a separate support member, which spans a switching chamber and is secured to the dividing walls of the switching chamber to mount the load contact in depending relation at a midpoint of the load contact in depending relation at a midpoint of the support to provide resiliency and minimize mechanical stresses imposed on the housing and enhance the accuracy of alignment. The load contact includes a fuse clip portion positioned below the support at the same level as the switch contact portion to minimize the housing profile and the support is notched to expose the fuse clip portion for the vertical insertion of the blade of a cartridge fuse. The fuse clip portion is bifurcated and reinforced by springs which span the closed end thereof. Variant load contact designs not requiring housing modifications for mounting are disclosed.
