摘要: Fuse devices and electrical systems using the fuse devices are disclosed, with the fuse devices having internal components to cause a fuse blown event when the pre-determined current level is reached through the contacts. The internal components can comprise a levitation actuator that causes separation between one or more of the contacts as the current level approaches the predetermined level. This causes contact levitation and arcing, which increases the resistance at the contact being separated. This in turn causes the current through the contacts to seek another path that in the embodiments herein is a path to a pyro feature. The current activates the pyro feature, which causes the contacts to separate and puts the fuse device in “fuse blown” condition where currents can no longer flow through the contacts.

摘要: A fuse holder for holding a fuse is provided that includes a body, a line side connector supported by the body, and a load side connector supported by the body. The fuse holder also includes a toggle switch supported by the body and capable of toggled engagement in a first position that provides electrical connection. The switch is also capable of toggled engagement in a second position that provides electrical isolation between the line side connector and the load side connector. The fuse holder also includes a fuse carrier. The fuse carrier is supported by the body and adapted for holding the fuse and the fuse carrier is adapted to be removed from the fuse holder. The fuse holder includes a blocking device blocking the toggled engagement of the switch from the second position to the first position when the fuse carrier is not within the fuse holder.

摘要: This power supply device includes: an AC path from an input end to an output end; a current sensor configured to detect a current flowing through the AC path; a conversion unit connected to the AC path and being capable of bidirectional power conversion; a storage battery connected to the AC path via the conversion unit; an AC switch provided between the input end and a point at which the conversion unit is connected to the AC path, the AC switch including parallel body of a relay contact and a semiconductor switch; and a control unit configured to control the conversion unit and the AC switch. When the control unit executes a current conduction mode for the first time, and when the current sensor detects an excessive current during the current conduction mode, the control unit closes only the relay contact while keeping the semiconductor switch opened.

摘要: A compact fusible disconnect switch device includes a magnetic arc deflection assembly including pairs of magnets disposed about a mechanical switch contact assembly. The magnetic arc deflection assembly facilitates reliable connection and disconnection of DC circuitry operating at a voltage well above 125 VDC with reduced arcing intensity and duration. The pairs of magnets may apply magnetic fields in directions opposing one another to deflect electrical arcs in different directions at different locations in the mechanical switch contact assembly to facilitate high voltage DC switching operation.
