摘要： A remote keyless entry system including a keyless fob having a transmitter for remote transmission of a semi-passive function control signal to an automobile in which the user does not have to manually actuate the fob while it transitions with the user from a point outside of its range with respect to the automobile to a point within its range. The user need only actuate the semi-passive signal transmission once and it is repetitively transmitted for a given amount of time whereby the trunk lid for example of the user's automobile will open as the user and the keyless fob move into a predetermined range from the automobile.

摘要： A vehicle ignition and remote keyless entry (RKE) assembly includes a key with an RKE transmitter and a first immobilizer coil. A key cylinder is configured to receive the key. A housing receives the key cylinder. A lightpipe is also received within the housing. An actuator is engageable with the key for connecting the key to a circuit board assembly. An RKE antenna insert molded into the housing or the lightpipe. A second immobilizer coil is insert molded into the housing or the lightpipe.

摘要： Automatically controlled door-locking system for locking at least an operator's door of a vehicle, including a power-operated device for selectively locking and unlocking at least the vehicle operator's door, a symptom detecting device or detecting a symptom indicating that the vehicle operator has an intention of getting off the vehicle, a communication device having a signal-receiving device and an identifier-signal requesting device operable upon detection of the above-indicated symptom, to transmit to a portable unit a request signal requesting the portable unit to transmit back to the signal-receiving device an identifier signal identifying the portable unit, and a locking-device controller operable when the identifier signal received by the signal-receiving device identifies the vehicle, to operate the power-operated locking device for locking at least the vehicle operator's door after the door is closed.
