    摘要: A keypad for a wireless device is disclosed. The keypad comprises one or more key stems, each key stem having an upper key stem surface. The keypad also comprises one or more keycaps configured to be mounted over the one or more key stems, each keycap having a lower keycap surface for bonding to the upper key stem surface of each key stem with adhesive. The upper key stem surface includes at least one depression and at least one groove along a perimeter of the upper key stem surface. The depression and groove can help reduce the risk of adhesive flow to undesirable areas.

    摘要: A heart cam mechanism of a switch includes a cam groove, which includes a heart cam and surrounding cams, and a lock pin. The heart cam has a concave part, a first vertex opposite the concave part, and second and third vertices on a concave-part side. While the switch is in a locked state, an upper end part of the lock pin is engaged with the concave part of the heart cam, and is positioned at a locking position. While the switch is pressed, the upper end part slides while pushing against a bottom surface of the cam groove located outside the heart cam, and moves along a heart-shaped path, which is depressed at the locking position. This configuration prevents an end part of the lock pin from moving in a reverse direction even when a step-like part of the bottom surface of the cam groove is worn out.

    摘要: A toggle switch comprises a housing with a toggle switch mechanism therein located on one side of a transverse wall structure of the housing. The switch mechanism includes a sector pivotally mounted on the housing and carrying a movable contact for engagement with fixed contacts in the housing. The sector has a surrounding skirt that slides on the transverse wall structure whereby the fixed and movable contacts are substantially enclosed. The plastic material forming the enclosure is of a noninflammable type having a high resistance to arcing. A groove between the fixed contacts increases the arc path resulting from surface buildup of conductive material removed from the contacts due to the arcing.
