摘要： An improved electrical wiring connector block in which the terminal lugs are preassembled at the factory, the blocks having knoblike protrusions formed thereon shaped and located to serve as anvils for crimping the lug ends on electrical conductors inserted therein, one or more connector blocks then being inserted into an associated housing wherein matching lug contacts of the blocks are aligned for electrical contact with each other, with contact strips in the housing, or with terminal strips of a printed circuit board inserted in the housing.

摘要： An extension cord for plug-in telephones comprises a line cord having a plug at one end for insertion in a telephone outlet and multi-outlet member on the other end. The multi-outlet member is in the form of a hollow box-like member in the front of which are at least two apertures with a jack aligned with an behind each aperture for insertion of a plug. A back cover is attached to the multi-outlet member and the line cord enters through a slot in the cover. The jacks are wired in parallel to the line cord. A latch can be provided on the plug of the line cord and the aperture can be profiled to provide latch engaging formations.

摘要： An indexing or keying system for electrical connectors adapted for longitudinal telescopic engagement with each other provides each connector with an indexing member having a predetermined facing configuration disposed at the connecting end thereof on one side of the centerline and a complementary indexing opening on the other side of the centerline having a facing configuration substantially identical to the facing configuration of the indexing member. By selecting unique complementary values for the facing dimensions of the indexing members and openings, the connectors may be indexed in accordance with any desired circuit parameter to prevent inadvertent joinder of dissimilar indexed connectors.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a terminal or contact strip for providing electrical contact in a connector shell assembly. The terminal connector strip is pressed from a flat metal blank such as, a copper alloy. The body of the terminal connector strip or pin is bent into a Z-shape or serpentine configuration to enable it to be wedged into an appropriate bore in the shell assembly. The contact head of the connector pin can have a spherical configuration to provide either a mating or point contact with an identical terminal connector pin.

摘要： In a lighting system in which each of a multiplicity of lighting fixtures has a receptable containing a multiplicity of electrical contacts, a switching cable assembly is provided. A pass-through power plug of the assembly has a housing, a stem connector projecting from the housing with a multiplicity of electrical contacts adapted to mate with complementary contacts in the fixture receptacle, a power-in receptacle mounted in the power plug housing and a power-out receptacle mounted in the housing, and electrical conductors electrically connected, mediately or immediately, to and between contacts of the power-in receptacle, contacts of the power-out receptacle and contacts of the stem connector, the stem connector and its complementary fixture receptacle constituting the means for mounting the plug on the system. A switch cable boss in the housing accommodates electrical conductors electrically connected to the electrical conductors between contacts of the power-in receptacle and contacts of the stem connector.
