    摘要: Techniques are described for efficiently embedding frame masks in a video stream. In some solutions, a computer implemented method includes operations for encoding a frame of video data comprising an array of pixels to generate an encoded video frame, and transmitting the encoded video frame to a video decoder. The array of pixels include foreground pixels and background pixels. The foreground pixels have respective first chroma component values which are bounded within a first chroma component range. Encoding the frame of video data can include converting the first chroma component values of the foreground pixels to second chroma component values by applying a mapping function. The second chroma component values are bounded within a second chroma component range. The second chroma component range is shifted or compressed from the first chroma component range.

    摘要: A system of properly displaying chroma key content is presented. The system obtains a digital representation of a 3D environment, for example a digital photo, and gathers data from that digital representation. The system renders the digital representation in an environmental model and displays that digital representation upon an output device. Depending upon the context, content anchors of the environmental model are selected which will be altered by suitable chroma key content. The chroma key content takes into consideration the position and orientation of the chroma key content relative to the content anchor and relative to the point of view that the environmental model is displayed from in order to accurately display chroma key content in a realistic manner.

    摘要: A system and, related method, is disclosed for enabling Chroma key compositing using a smart device, wherein an image/video of a subject situated in front of a portable monochromatic background is captured, and simultaneously layered upon a different desired background replacement that will replace only the monochromatic background captured. The portable monochromatic background structure can be an inflatable structure affixed with a plurality of lighting modules configured to ensure a uniform light distribution across the monochromatic background and separately ensure a uniform light distribution on the subject during the image/video capture. Moreover, a software application on a smart device can act as a system platform that enables for automatic light adjustment of the lighting modules on a portable monochromatic background to correct any light imperfections that impede color neutrality on the background, which would otherwise result in the inability to create broadcast quality background replacement content with a smart device using the monochromatic lighting platform disclosed herein.

The transmission system may comprise a camera positioned at the height of the eye level of the presenter with a direct view of the presenter through a semi-reflective mirror. The presenter may view in a line of sight through the semi-reflective mirror toward the camera to see a double reflection of an image display device with a live video of an audience as a reflection off the semi-reflective mirror and a secondary reflection off a mirror to display the image in a vertical orientation.
