    摘要: A modular gathering platform for grain harvesters is provided for coupling to the front of a grain harvester or processor which can gather plants previously prepared in one or more rows by at least one central belt conveyor with functional side by side coupling to other equal harvesting conveyor belts. The platform includes a transversal mounting structure having an internal opening, at least one central harvesting conveyor belt having front and rear extremities and two side couplings, additional harvesting conveyor belts coupled to the sides of the central belt, an anti-jamming roll and a rotating guiding roll. The central harvesting conveyor belt and additional side harvesting conveyor belts, the anti-jamming rolls, and the guiding roll are synchronized by an actuation assembly, and the guiding roll moves the harvested plants towards the exit. The platform advantageously allows for the gathering of a crop that has been prepared in rows.

    摘要: Yield monitoring systems for harvesting machines and methods that can provide yield monitoring of crops are described. Machines include those that pneumatically convey crop through the machine such as peanut harvesting machines. The yield monitoring system includes a force sensor that can be located in conjunction with a duct of the harvesting machine such that impact of the crop materials on an impact plate within the duct will be registered by the force sensor. This registration can be used to determine a mass flow rate for the crop, which can be correlated to yield of the crop. The systems can include additional components such as optical monitors, moisture sensors, and pressure sensors.

    摘要: A crop orienting device is disclosed for orienting a crop being fed through a harvesting stemmer having a plurality of parallel rows of cutting disks adapted to sever stems from the crop upon rotation. The device comprises first support means supporting a first set of laterally spaced elongated crop orienting members with the spacings between adjacent crop orienting members being substantially equal. Second support means support a second set of laterally spaced elongated crop orienting members in juxtaposition with the first set of crop orienting members and with the spacing between adjacent crop orienting members of the second set being substantially equal to the equal spacings between adjacent crop orienting members of the first set. Means are also provided for securing the first and second support means rigidly together in a plurality of relative positions to render the spacing between the juxtaposed first and second sets of crop orienting members adjustable.

    摘要: The invention relates to a machine for the harvesting of plants and more particularly pulling groundnut plants from the soil and gathering such plants according to an orderly arrangement. The machine according to the invention provides a beltlike conveyor, disposed at an angle to the direction of travel of the machine, spaced fingers projecting from an edge of the conveyor, and plant guide means forwardly divergingly disposed relative to the conveyor for directing and holding the plants between fingers and against the conveyor so that the plants are pulled upwardly at the position when the conveyor commences upward movement. With the conveyor means are provided to remove extracted plants for orderly side by side collection on a surface. In addition means are provided for discharge of the plants with the root ends directed in the same directions.

    摘要: A peanut vine digger and shaker comprising a pair of crop elevating rattlers positioned in side-by-side relationship and supported by a framework, and rattler drive means positioned generally between the rattlers and arranged to drive the rattlers from the power source of a tractor or the like. A pair of plows are connected to the framework ahead of each of the rattlers, and a pair of coulters are positioned between and ahead of the rattlers for cutting the vines just before the vines are plowed from the ground and shaken by the rattlers.
