    摘要: An air-assisted conveying system of an agricultural harvester includes a controller configured to receive a first sensor signal indicative of a first air pressure at a first location within a line and to receive a second sensor signal indicative of a second air pressure at a second location within the line. Furthermore, the controller is configured to determine an air pressure differential based on the first air pressure and the second air pressure. In response to determining the air pressure differential is greater than a threshold value, the controller is configured to control a supplemental air source to provide supplemental air to the line for a supplemental air duration. In addition, in response to determining the air pressure differential is greater than the threshold value during the supplemental air duration, the controller is configured to control an operational air source to increase an operational air flow through the line.

A material engagement member is arranged on the mounting structure and is pivotal with respect to the mounting structure about a pivot point. The material engagement member can comprise a first end and a second end opposite of the first end. At least one rotational sensor is arranged in the monitoring device and is configured to detect spatial movement or position of the material engagement member. A processing device is coupled to the at least one rotational sensor and is configured to determine an aggregate crop yield based on the detected rotational magnitude of the displacement of the first end or second end.

    摘要: A system and related method of applying forage treatment material to harvested forage is provided. The system can include a mobile forage harvester having a chute, a vacuum source that produces a vacuum, and a bin that stores granular treatment material for dispensation. The chute can be joined with a catch tube having a catch opening. A tube can extend from the bin toward the catch tube, but can be separated from the catch opening by an open gap. The material can be dispensed from the tube into the open gap, and drawn across the open gap and into the catch opening with the vacuum so the material mixes with the harvested forage moving along the pathway in the chute under force of the vacuum. The bin, tubes and the open gap can be located in an interior compartment to protect them from the elements. A related method is provided.

    摘要: A sugarcane harvester includes an improved discharge assembly that receives sugarcane billets and discharges the billets into a storage vehicle that travels alongside the harvester. The discharge assembly includes an elevator and a conveyor. The elevator lifts the billets vertically about an elevator axis that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the harvester. The conveyor receives the billets from the elevator and moves the billets horizontally along a conveyor axis that is substantially perpendicular to both the elevator axis and the longitudinal axis of the harvester. The discharge assembly also comprises height adjustment mechanism for vertically raising or lowering the conveyor and lateral adjustment mechanism for laterally adjusting positions of the conveyor. The height adjustment mechanism and the lateral adjustment mechanism can be manually or automatically operated to shift the conveyor between a number of use positions and a transport/storage position.
