摘要: A baler connectable to a tractor for providing round bales comprises: a frame supported on a wheel axle; a chamber, for receiving crops and for housing a formed bale, the chamber having a fixed, predetermined size; a tailgate connected to the frame and movable between a closed position and an open position; a conveying assembly which has a first portion provided in the frame and a second portion provided in the tailgate; a cylinder-piston actuator, which includes a closing chamber and moves the tailgate from the open position to the closed position; a binder, configured for binding the formed bale with a fastening element; a pressure sensor for detecting a control signal representative of a pressure inside the closing chamber of the cylinder-piston actuator; a control unit, configured to generate an alert signal as a function of the control signal.

摘要: A bale wrapping system that includes a belt that rotates to form and drive rotation of a bale of an agricultural product. The bale is configured to be wrapped with a wrapping layer of a bale wrap while rotating on the belt. A first portion of the wrapping layer overlaps a second portion of the wrapping layer while disposed on the belt. A glue system sprays a layer of glue onto the wrapping layer. The layer of glue enables the first portion of the wrapping layer to couple to the second portion of the wrapping layer.

摘要: A round baler includes a bale size sensor operable to detect a radial size of a bale during formation thereof, a bale weight sensor operable to detect a weight of a completed bale, and a location sensor operable to determine a respective field origin location of the crop material gathered for each respective one of a plurality of radial layers of the bale. A controller calculates a density of a completed bale with data from the bale weight sensor and the bale size sensor. The controller determines a volume of a respective one of the radial layers during formation of a current bale, subsequent to the completed bale, with data from the bale size sensor. The controller may then estimate a density of the respective one of the radial layers based on the volume of the respective one of the radial layers, and the density of the previously completed bale.

摘要: A continuous round baler forms a cylindrically-shaped bale by spiral, coiled layers created by a conical portion of a bale-forming chamber and protruded upwardly from a cylindrical portion of the bale-forming chamber. The bale is circumferentially supported by netting applied to the bale in the cylindrical portion. A rotary feed table receives crop from the field and feeds the crop into the conical portion. The bale forming process can be interrupted if an insufficient volume of crop is collected on the rotary feed table. The netting material is provided on short rolls to facilitate loading onto the machine. A cutoff mechanism is coupled to the growth of the bale from the cylindrical portion to sever the bale at a predetermined length with end surfaces that are perpendicular to the axis of the bale. A bale density mechanism supports the distal end of the bale as the bale protrudes upwardly.

摘要: A system and method for controlling a wrapping process of a round bale is disclosed. The round bale rotates in a bale chamber of a round baler with elastic wrapping material being removed from a supply roller using a tensioning device and guided during the wrapping process by at least one guide roller. The round bale is wrapped with the wrapping material pretensioned by the tensioning device with an adjustable wrapping tension predetermined by the control unit. A sensor assembly may sense the actual value for a force resulting from the wrapping tension, which is compared with a target value for the force resulting from the wrapping tension, which is determined during the performance of at least one preceding wrapping operation and specific to the wrapping material. The control unit controls the tensioning device depending on the deviation determined by the comparison of the actual value and the target value.

Three or more portions of the wrap may be payed out onto the crop module at three of more differed sheet feed rates that may be selectable by an operator or based on properties of the wrap material or the crop. The wrap feed rate may be a selectable variable or a continuously variable sheet feed rate selected from a range of pay out feeds or feed rates.
