The wrapping cycle including rotating a wrapping hoop to apply a wrapping material to a bale surface, moving a bale pushing device from a first position toward a second position to push the bale through the wrapping hoop, dispensing from a first material applicator and a second material applicator, determining presence of the wrapping material, by a sensor on the wrapping hoop, adjusting based on the determining, a ratio of moving speed to rotational speed of the wrapping hoop, to apply a predetermined amount of wrapping material independent of the presence of wrapping material dispensing, continuing to move the bale pushing device until the second position is reached, stopping the rotation of the wrapping hoop, and moving the bale pushing device to the first position.

    摘要: A method of controlling a wrap system of a round baler includes determining a current characteristic of a supply roll of wrap material related to a current weight of the supply roll, and controlling rotation of a pair of spool rollers based on the current characteristic of the supply roll. As the current characteristic indicates a decrease in weight, the rotation of the pair of spool rollers is controlled to achieve a desired acceleration rate of the spool rollers, such that a leading edge of the wrap material is ejected from a nip formed between the pair of spool rollers at an ejection trajectory that is within an allowable angular range relative to a tangent of the nip, so that the leading edge of the wrap material passes through an access and into a baling chamber of the round baler.

    摘要: A bale wrapper apparatus includes a table for supporting the bale and rotating the bale about a first axis; a film dispenser including a film holder and a pre-stretcher unit; a drive device for driving relative rotation between the table and the film dispenser about a second axis that is substantially perpendicular to the first axis, and a control unit that controls the pre-stretcher unit. The control unit is configured to control the pre-stretcher unit such that during rotation of the bale, the amount of pre-stretching applied to the film alternates between a first elongation level and a second elongation level. The first elongation level is greater than the second elongation level, such that a part of the film that is pre-stretched at the second elongation level is positioned on a corner of the bale, and a part of the film that is pre-stretched at the first elongation level is positioned on an end face or a side surface of the bale.

    摘要: A tractor includes an electronic tractor controller. A baler includes an electronic baler controller. The baler controller submits a halt signal to the tractor controller when a bale size is equal to or exceeds a first predetermined size. The baler controller generates a tractor halt signal in response to certain conditions of the baler system and the tractor controller preventing tractor motion in response to the halt signal. When the baler controller is generating the halt signal, tractor motion is enabled if the operator commands the tractor to move by manipulating the command device, and within a certain time period of said command being issued, the baler controller generates a tractor motion enabling signal in response a status of the baler system. When the baler controller is generating the halt signal, tractor motion is enabled if the operator moves the tractor command device in a special manner.

The bale wrapping system generally includes a support frame to secure a roll of wrapping material to a baler, a brake assembly secured to the support frame, wherein the brake assembly is adapted to brake a rotation of the roll of wrapping material, and a sensor assembly secured to the support frame, wherein the sensor assembly includes a sensor wheel adapted to measure an amount of outputted wrapping material. The brake assembly and the sensor assembly operate independent of each other with respect to the roll of wrapping material and the support frame. The support frame may be retrofitted to an existing baler through a coupler and a bracket extending from an elongated rod connecting opposing sides of the support frame.

    摘要: A bale wrapping attachment for a baler that forms round bales is mounted at a rear portion of the baler and includes a support for a supply of wrapping material that is formed as a web and rolled into a roll. The web is passed across a fixed, non-rotating feed bar. The wrapping attachment includes a guillotine type knife that cooperates with a cross frame member forming an anvil. The knife is slidable between a retracted position and a cutting position wherein a knife carried by the cutter engages the cross frame member to sever material underneath the knife. When the knife is in its retracted position, the non-rotating feed bar is moved to a position wherein wrapping material draped over the feed bar contacts exposed surfaces of bale forming belts from the baler, causing the wrapping material to be carried with the belts and into the bale chamber to wrap around the bale. A signal is provided when a selected amount of wrapping material has been removed from the supply roll, and the cutter is then moved to its cutting position and at the same time, the feed bar is moved away from the bale forming belts. The wrapping material is severed and then the bale can be discharged. When the wrapping material is severed, it leaves a short length or tail that drapes over the feed bar so it is ready for the next feeding cycle.
