摘要: An article that supports germinating seeds and growing plants is provided and disclosed. The article includes a substrate with openings therethrough for developing plants. The substrate includes a phosphor containing layer on the closed substrate surfaces and optionally a reflective layer below the phosphor containing layer on the closed surfaces. The substrate with openings and phosphor containing layer on closed surfaces of the substrate can be disposed over a growth medium. The article having the phosphor containing layer is configured to convert at least a portion of incident plant growth light into longer wavelength red spectrum containing light, and redirect the red light to the developing plants.

摘要: A superhydrophobic modified film and modification method, and a triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) composed thereof and a preparation method are disclosed. A polyethylene (PE) film is etched and deposited with an inductively coupled plasma (ICP) etcher in sequence. A nano-textured structure is formed on an upper surface of the PE film and a fluorocarbon layer is further deposited for modification. An upper electrode of the film is constructed by sticking a piece of ultra-thin copper tape on a superhydrophobic surface of the superhydrophobic modified film, and a lower electrode of the film is constructed by spin-coating a conductive polymer on a lower surface of the film after O2 plasma treatment. Thus, the TENG with high output and a double-electrode working mode based on the superhydrophobic modified greenhouse film is constructed. According to the modification method, the nano-textured structure is constructed on the surface of the film.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a woody plant seeding formulation for phytoremediation, ecological restoration, land reclamation, environmental rehabilitation, revitalization, revegetation, and reforestation of disturbed and degraded lands. The seeding formulation includes a mix of woody trees or shrubs seeds, organic mulch, beneficial microbial populations, mineral fertilizer, adhesive, absorbent polymer, and water. The present disclosure also provides for pre-treatment of surfaces by spreading or mixing with organic biomass with the surface. Methods of preparing and applying the seeding formulation and pre-treatment are also disclosed.

The system includes a germination module that allows seeds to germinal on a horizontal substrate, a growth module that provides optimal growth conditions to the germinated seed on the substrate in a vertical position, and a dosing module that controls the micronutrient mixture supplied to the growing plants.

摘要: The invention taught is a method and apparatus to mix a special polymer, hot water or other hot water material containing additives and a special mixture of dry growing substances mixed in a particular way so that they may be applied to structures such as to ceilings, walls, and any grade of vertical slants, commercial roofs, courtyards, indoor and outdoor applications. The purpose is to coat any surface and grow any plant for any reason be it erosion control, beautification of an area. The invention would help in reforestation after fires and such. This invention has a wide range of applications and so it is impossible to limit it to just one of these applications. Green parking lots and green areas that before could not be made green is just one area for the invention.
