摘要: A film is provided with void spaces having a porous structure with less cracks and a high proportion of void space as well as having strength. The film with void spaces includes one kind or two or more kinds of structural units that form a structure with minute void spaces, wherein the structural units are chemically bonded through catalysis. For example, the abrasion resistance measured with BEMCOT® is in the range from 60% to 100%, and the folding endurance measured by the MIT test is 100 times or more. The film with void spaces can be produced by forming the precursor of the silicone porous body using sol containing pulverized products of a gelled silicon compound and then chemically bonding the pulverized products contained in the precursor of the silicone porous body. The chemical bond among the pulverized products is preferably a chemical crosslinking bond among the pulverized products.

摘要: Expandable methyl methacrylate resin particles capable of providing a foamed molded product which has excellent surface quality and with which a residue hardly remains after burning are provided. The expandable methyl methacrylate resin particles contain a base resin and a blowing agent. The base resin includes, as constitutional units, a specific amount of a methyl methacrylate unit, a specific amount of an acrylic ester unit, and a specific amount of a constitutional unit derived from a crosslinking agent. The expandable methyl methacrylate resin particles have a volume-average particle size of 0.30 mm to 0.50 mm.

摘要: An aerogel that includes an open-cell structured polymer matrix is disclosed. The aerogel includes 5 wt. % to 50 wt. % of a polyamic amide polymer, based on the total weight of the aerogel, pores and at least 90% of the pore volume of the aerogel is made up of macropores, a porosity of at least 50%, as measure according to ASTM D4404-10, a density of 0.01 g/cm3 to 0.5 g/cm3, and the aerogel is thermally stable to resist browning at 330° C.
