摘要: A process for line production of plant growth medium pots or bags with a closed bottom end includes the steps of: i) continuously folding the free end of a continuous length of water and air permeable sheet material into a sheet material tube around and beyond a free end of a growth medium feeding tube; ii) forming a first sealing in the sheet material tube; iii) filling the sheet material tube with a measured amount of growth medium; iv) forming a second sealing in the sheet material tube; v) separating the part of the sheet material tube positioned downstream from the second sealing to form a first plant growth medium pot or bag with a closed end, repeating as needed to form a plurality of plant growth medium pots or bags.

[Solution]
A link piece 3 is formed by folding back both sides in a width direction of a strip-shaped sheet onto an identical face by one-sixth of a width of the sheet, using a water-soluble adhesive 21 to attach folded back inner faces, folding back the sheet onto an opposite side of the folding back by a width same as the folded back width, and using the water-soluble adhesive 21 to attach folded back inner faces. A continuous piece 13 is formed by arranging the link pieces 3 in a stagger pattern in a direction in which first folded-back portions 3a are opposed, and attaching both side end portions in the width direction of the first folded-back portion 3a in one link piece 3 to the first folded-back portion 3a of the opposed other link piece 3 using a non-water-soluble adhesive 23. An individual pot 11 is formed between the first folded-back portions 3a of the mutually opposed link pieces 3. In a transplantation of the individual pot 11, by expanding the link piece 3, the length between the individual pots 11 is increased, thus allowing handling a seedling crop that requires a wide interval between plants.-

摘要: A plant-growing tray comprises a plurality of cells, each cell for containing in use a substrate for a plant or a cylindrical stabilised medium for propagating a plant. Each cell is formed from injection-moulded plastic and comprises a cell base and eight inclined side walls extending upwardly from the cell base, and each cell comprises four corner side walls having a corner wall gradient, and four stepped side walls which comprise an upper portion having an upper gradient, a lower portion having a lower gradient, and a step having a step gradient. The step is positioned between the upper portion and the lower portion, and the step gradient is less steep than the gradients of the upper portion and the lower portion of the side wall. Each cell comprises a pair of ribs on each of the four stepped walls, the ribs extending upwards from the cell base. At least a lower portion of the ribs have a rib gradient which is steeper than the gradients of the inclined side walls, and the gradient of the corner side walls is less steep than the upper portion or the lower portion of the stepped walls.

摘要: A seed development device for Psammochloa villosa using condensate water in desert areas includes: a cultivation box, a top surface of the cultivation box is connected to a cooler and condensate water collecting units through a support frame. Each condensate water collecting unit includes an outer frame, sleeve pipes, a middle frame, a cold air cavity, water collecting rods, a water collecting tank and a delivery pipe. The delivery pipe is connected to the cultivation box. When an outdoor temperature cannot complete condensation of water vapor, the cooler completes cooling of the cold air cavity and water collecting rods until condensate water collection is completed, water drops fall into the water collecting tank to complete water collection, which is used for water supplement of seed development of Psammochloa villosa, thus reducing the process of artificial water supplement and improving the development efficiency of seeds of Psammochloa villosa in desert areas.

摘要: The present invention relates to a pruning pot device. The device is comprised of a body, a plurality of hinges, and a plurality of latches. The body may be of various sizes to accommodate different plants or trees and may include indicia on any surface. The device further comprises a plurality of openings on the bottom surface of the body, allowing the roots of the plants to grow without obstruction. In addition, the device is comprised of a root blocker to allow the user to block the openings if they wish. The latches allow the device to be secured in a closed position when not in use and the hinges allow the device to be opened and closed. The pruning pot device of the present invention is useful in pruning and cultivating plants and trees with minimal risk of killing the plants.
