    摘要： A footwear construction for an infant includes an upper having a medial panel that transitions to a heel closure flap and a lateral panel with a fin that transitions a minor upstanding wall around a heel of the footwear. The heel closure flap is operable in a closed mode, in which it overlaps the minor upstanding wall such that no vertical gap is formed therebetween in the heel region and secures the footwear on an infant foot, and in an open mode, in which the flap is distal from the fin and the minor upstanding wall to expose a heel opening so that the infant foot can be placed in a void of the footwear, passing at least partially through the heel opening in the open mode. A related method of use also is provided.

The essence of the solution for a system for predicting the period for children to safely wear newly acquired footwear rests in the fact that it contains an input module measuring foot length and input of information about the age of the monitored child to which is linked a model for predicting the growth of the child's foot by applying the laws of growth, possibly also including genetic and local influences, connected to a comparative and inferential module establishing the predicted course of growth in foot length of the monitored child, to which is then linked an output module designating the nearest date for the necessary replacement of shoe size for the monitored child.

    摘要： Footwear includes an upper, a sole, and a thread. The upper has upper holes around the upper peripheral. The sole has a lip portion on the sole peripheral lip portion has sole holes around the sole peripheral. The thread attaches the upper and the sole through the upper holes and the sole holes, and forms a set of stitches. A ripple is formed between two sets of stitches and the thread is embedded in the lip portion between the ripples. Each stitch goes through a first upper hole and enters the sole hole of the lip portion, such that the thread forms an angled stitch on the lip portion. The thread then goes through a second upper hole and exits from a third upper hole, such that the thread forms a horizontal stitch on the inside of the footwear.
