摘要: A stackable frame that may couple to the planar underside of structures and act as support may be formed by vertical downwards and outwards sloping tubular leg members that are connected at their tops by a rigid inverted square tray and at their bent lower parts by outward convex curved pipe members disposed in a plane. In different embodiments, the frame may comprise different member cross-sections and dimensions of the longitudinal members for the support of different embodiments of attachable tops with which different functional objects like tables, chairs and stools may be formed. Aggregate frames may also constitute supports for large platforms or other elevated surfaces. Identical attachable table tops may, in turn, be nested and stacked such that their normally exposed surfaces are protected whilst a stacked configuration.

摘要: The invention discloses a pedestal apparatus for an article of furniture. The pedestal apparatus has an elongate post formation defining a first end and a second end and having a longitudinal axis. The post formation immovably supports a fixed foot arrangement and also movably supports a variable foot arrangement. The variable foot arrangement is selectively movable along and around the longitudinal axis for varying a longitudinal and angular proximity between the variable foot arrangement and the fixed foot arrangement. Biasing means are provided for controlling movement of the variable foot arrangement whereby, in use, the biasing means causes both the fixed foot arrangement and the variable foot arrangement to abut an underlying surface and thereby provide a substantial stabilization of the pedestal apparatus.

摘要: An electromotive adjustment device for a piece of furniture having an adjustable furniture part. The electromotive adjustment device includes a housing, a drive gear motor, a control device having a device housing, and at least one drive unit having an output member connected to the adjustable furniture part. The drive gear motor is configured to be one of brought to a standstill and reversed by a safety device during the occurrence of a pinching between one or more of two furniture parts, a furniture part and a component, and a furniture part and a part of a person's body. The safety device includes a light transmitter configured such that a light beam directed against one of the adjustable furniture part and the component and the light beam is reflected to meet a light receiver.

摘要: A table may be sized and configured to nest with another table to reduce a height of a plurality of stacked tables in a nested configuration. The table may include a table top with a receiving portion disposed at least proximate an intersection of an upper surface and a sidewall. The table top may also include a lip and a lower portion of the lip may include a contact surface that is sized and configured to contact an upper surface of an adjacent, nested table. The lower portion of the lip may also include an engaging portion that is sized and configured to be disposed in a receiving portion of an adjacent, nested table. The contact surface and the engaging portion may be directly adjacent to each other in the lower portion of the lip.
