    摘要： A patient support apparatus supports a patient for movement assisted by first and second caregivers and includes a litter. The litter includes a patient support deck extending between first and second ends and defines at least one cavity. First and second evacuation interfaces are coupled to the litter. The first and second evacuation interfaces pivot between first and second unfolded positions and first and second upright positions, respectively, and move between first and second lengthened positions and first and second shortened positions, respectively. The first and second evacuation interfaces are disposed in the cavity when the first and second evacuation interfaces are in the first and second unfolded positions and the first and second shortened positions, respectively, and configured to be grasped and lifted by the first and second caregivers when the first and second evacuation interfaces are in the first and second upright positions, respectively.

    摘要： A wearable rescue sled constructed of a durable sheet material having a smooth, low-friction surface, an upper edge, a lower edge, and two side edges, with attachments along the upper edge for attaching the sled to a rear panel of a vest such as a military or law enforcement protective plate carrier vest. A releasable stowing retainer holds the sled in a stowed position with the approximately conformant to the rear panel of the vest. To effect a rescue of the sled's wearer, a rescuer releases the stowing retainer such that the sled hingably swings or slides down to depend from the attachments, forming a flexible low-friction seat for dragging a wearer of the vest. The rescuer may now drag the wearer in a semi-inclined seated position wherein the sled rides between the hips of the wearer and the ground surface to reduce friction and snag dangers.

A gas spring acts between the main frame and the sliding frame to bias the sliding frame toward the retracted position. A chair support hook on the sliding frame supports the paramedic chair and a chair handle latch is carried by the main frame for releasably retaining the handle of the paramedic chair. A locking latch system comprising a first lock component carried by the sliding frame and a second lock component carried by the main frame releasably locks the sliding frame in the retracted position.
