    摘要: Provided is a tennis and other racquet and paddle sport grip training device for use on the grip/handle of a tennis racquet, other racquet types or a paddle. Various forms of the device may be utilized for teaching and practicing the continental grip, the two-handed backhand grip, the one-handed backhand grip and the various forehand grips. The device includes at least one thumb heel plate for the thumb heel area of the dominant hand and the optional non-dominant hand (for the two-handed backhand grip), at least one recessed palm area for the dominant hand and optional non-dominant hand, and a hand divider ridge/plate/pad for the pinky finger heel area of the optional non-dominate hand and the area between the thumb and the index finger of the dominate hand. These features allow the player to more easily, comfortably, consistently, and accurately position his or her hand (s) on the racquet or paddle grip/handle for utilizing and practicing the proper grips for the range of strokes utilized for racquet and paddle sports.

The grip includes a gripping portion, a sleeved portion, and a fastening element connected to the gripping portion. The sleeved portion has a first top surface and a first opening. The fastening element is connected to the first top surface, and the fastening element extends from the first opening to the inside of the gripping portion. The cap is sleeved onto the sleeved portion and has a second top surface and a second opening. There is a spacing length between the first top surface and the second top surface, and the cap has a cap length. The ratio of the spacing length to the cap length is between 0.39 and 0.83. One end of the shaft is connected to the frame, and another end is inserted into the fastening element.

An underside of the tennis grip securing strip comprises a tacky or sticky portion to enable the securing strip to be wound around the loose end of the tennis grip and the shaft portion of the racket frame, thereby securing the tennis grip to the shaft portion. An upper, exposed side of the tennis grip securing strip includes a plurality of markings spaced along its length, wherein the markings may be used by a player playing with the racket to adjust his/her grip depending upon the shot that is to be played.

    摘要: An improved racquet handle, such as for a tennis or racquetball racquet, comprised of a flex control device that enables a user to adjust the flexibility of the racquet handle. The increased flexibility of the racquet handle enables a user to impart greater force on a ball, such as a tennis ball, and also dampens or reduces the amount of vibration and/or shock otherwise imparted to the racquet user when the racquet strikes the ball. The flex control device of the present invention is comprised of a fixed insert portion and an interchangeable, removable insert that enables a user to control the amount of the flexibility of the racquet.
