    摘要: A press and a process for operating it, has an upper tool and a lower tool for shaping a workpiece and a work unit including a press drive and/or a drawing device, is controllable by a controller, to perform the shaping process. The controller outputs, to the work unit, press process values, which define the sequence of events of the shaping process. Workpiece parameters characterize, for example, the material and/or the shape and/or at least one dimension and/or quality of the workpiece, which still has to be shaped or has already been shaped. The controller is assigned a composition matrix which contains, for each defined workpiece parameter and for each defined press process value, an individually changeable function, to describe the relationship between every one of the defined workpiece parameters and the defined press process values. This composition matrix allows a quick and rapid adjustment and adaptation of the press.

A front surface of the piston rod (33) forms a third piston surface (54) which is larger than the first and second piston surfaces. The third piston surface (54) delimits the third operating chamber (53) of the hydraulic cylinder (23). The first and the second operating chambers (47, 48) are provided for controlling the position and/or the movement of the piston rod (33). The third operating chamber (53) serves to control the metal sheet clamping force of the drawing press via the piston rod (33).

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for the iterative process optimization of drawing processes, occurring in timed sequence, in drawing presses. The clamping force which can be set at the blank holder is reduced in the case of fractures or increased in the case of part folding or maintained at the same level in the case of acceptable parts. In order to be able to detect the drawn part quality with respect to the criteria of "fractures", "acceptable" or "folding" automatically during each working cycle the normal variation of the drawing sound is determined by means of a sound emission analysis of the structure-borne sound caused by the drawn part during the drawing process in the drawing tool, and from this a characteristic level course from periodic to stochastic sound components is determined. During the production of the drawn parts, the structure-borne sound signal is examined in each case with regard to the simultaneous occurrence of abnormal amplitude discontinuities in a wide frequency spectrum and, if appropriate, it is concluded that there are "fractures". Furthermore, the structure-borne sound signal is examined in each case with regard to the temporal level course from periodic to stochastic sound components and, if appropriate, it is concluded that there are "folds".

The method is for use with sheet metal forming tools including a draw die, a punch and binder having surfaces designed to form the sheet metal into a part, the sheet metal being represented as a mesh including a plurality of nodes. The method includes applying a displacement increment to the sheet metal nodes and identifying a singularity in a tangent stiffness matrix associated with the sheet metal close to the onset of buckling. The method also includes introducing a plurality of springs at the sheet metal nodes so as to eliminate the singularity and enhance convergence of the numerical solution of the displacement increment.

The plurality of short-stroke cylinders can be connected to create hydraulic force action zones according to the geometry of the sheet-holder plate or a workpiece and during the downward travel of the ram, starting at a predetermined coupling point, the die-cushion plate and the sheet-holder plate execute in the direction of the downward travel, a preliminary stroke while simultaneously maintaining a safety spacing between the ram and the sheet-holder plate. Additionally, subsequent to the preliminary stroke, the sheet-holder plate is raised a counterstroke distance relative to the die-cushion plate such that the workpiece is clamped in place; and subsequent to this, the ram executes a drawing operation relative to the punch during the completion of the downward travel of the ram. Thus, the impact shock to the workpiece is minimized.
