摘要： An extended-life tire chain and method of extending the life of a tire chain. An extended-life tire chain has a plurality of chain links, a plurality of twin clevises each secured to two of the links, and a plurality of clevis pins each having a head on one of its extremities. Each twin clevis has two receptacles. Each clevis pin is removably disposed in a different one of the receptacles. The twin clevises are oriented such that, when the tire chain is installed on a tire, the heads project radially away from a tread surface of the tire.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a device for increasing traction, and, in particular, to a device to be fitted on a tire or wheel for increasing, enhancing, or improving, the traction, or friction, between the tire or wheel and a surface that the tire or wheel is in contact with. The device comprises two or more line structures, at least two of which configured for encircling along two sidewalls of the tire, respectively. The device further comprises a plurality of cross members configured for contacting a tread portion of the tire, the cross members comprising mechanism for connecting the two or more line structures together. At least one of the cross members comprises a strap made of a material comprising textile, one or more traction components attached to at least a surface side of the strap. The present disclosure further provides a strap suitable for use in the device.

摘要： The tool includes an elongate rigid bar with fixed chain leaders extending from the bar near ends of the bar. A removable chain leader is provided between these two fixed chain leaders. In one form of the invention, the bar is hollow and a pin translates within this hollow core. A slot in the bar allows a proximal link of the removable chain leader to pass into the hollow core of the bar where the pin can removably capture this proximal link. Because the removable chain leader is provided on the bar, it can initially be captured to the bar for use along with the fixed chain leaders to position a tire chain onto a dual wheel pair. Then, the removable leader can be removed from the bar and act as a handle on a middle elongate section of the tire chain to assist in connection thereof.

摘要： This invention discloses an automatic locking device for snow anti-skid chains. Wherein the snow anti-skid chain comprises a ratchet wheel lock catch and a anti-skid chain; the anti-skid chain is respectively fixed at the buckle and the outer part of the housing aforesaid, and extends towards three directions. The ratchet wheel lock catch is used to make the anti-skid chain to attach to automobile tires firmly and is controlled by pressing two buttons on its lower side, which is different from existing operational actions of braking off and twisting. The pressing action is simple and available for one hand operation. The overall structure is simple and reliable, conforming to use habits of control actions by users.

摘要： A tire traction assembly for mounting upon a tire. The assembly includes a plurality of flexible members such as chains or cables engaged in pivoting connections with brackets at opposing ends. A separable adjustable connector such as a toothed member is attached to a first of the two brackets and configured for engagement with a ratchet mechanism attached to the second of the brackets to releasably secure the tire traction assembly around the tire. A plurality of traction cables configured to traverse the rolling surface of the tire are located in-between the brackets. The brackets may include a planar tread plate which has opposing planar side surfaces configuring the brackets to a U-shape.
