摘要: A recording apparatus, including: a recording portion; a conveying portion that conveys the sheet, while imparting tension to the sheet, in a forward direction and a backward direction; a position detecting portion that detects a position of the sheet in a width direction of the sheet; a position adjustment portion that adjusts a position of the sheet in the width direction; and a control portion that executes a position adjustment operation in which, after conveying the sheet in the backward direction following a recording operation by the recording portion, the sheet is conveyed by the conveying portion in the forward direction while adjusting the position of the sheet in the width direction using the position adjustment portion. A conveying distance of the sheet in the backward direction in the position adjustment operation is determined on the basis of a detection result by the position detecting portion.

摘要: In one aspect, the present disclosure is directed to a dispenser assembly for dispensing supplies of sheet material. The dispensing assembly can include a carrier supporting the supplies of sheet material and being moveable along a track between various dispensing positions. The dispenser assembly also can include a carrier pivoting assembly with a lever that engages one of the supplies of sheet material and rotates during dispensing thereof, as well as one or more biased pins connected to the lever and configured to engage locking features provided along the track to support the carrier in one of the dispensing positions. The biased pins further can be configured to retract with rotation of the lever such that they disengage the locking features so the carrier to moves along the track to different dispensing position. Other aspects also are described.

摘要: A dispensing system includes a container, a roll of slit paper, and a passive tension mechanism. The container includes panels and one of the panels includes a dispensing aperture. The slit paper on the roll is in an unexpanded state. The slit paper can be transformed from the unexpanded state to an expanded state by exerting a longitudinal pulling force on the slit paper. The passive tension mechanism is in the container and arranged such that a path of the slit paper from the roll to the dispensing aperture passes through the passive tension mechanism. The passive tension mechanism is configured to induce tension in the slit paper along the path between the roll of the slit paper and the dispensing aperture such that the slit paper transforms from the unexpanded state to the expanded state along the path between the roll of the slit paper and the dispensing aperture.

摘要: A feed and cutting unit for selectively cutting and dispensing individual weight material segments from a common strip of backing material is disclosed. The feed and cutting unit comprises a feed assembly, a sensor and a cutter member. The feed assembly includes a drive roller and a follower roller that frictionally engages first and second surfaces of a strip of weight material to selectively move the strip of weight material to a cutter member. The sensor is connected to a controller and measures an amount of segmented weight material on the backing material as the strip of weight material moves past the sensor. The cutter member is actuated to separate weight material segments from the backing material by cutting at least a portion of the backing material in a gap disposed between adjacent segments. Weight apply devices that receive the segments for application to an imbalanced member, are also disclosed.

A shift clutch transmission having a manually actuatable trigger element is arranged upstream of the gear transmission. The driven roller can be driven in incremental strips by the shift clutch transmission. A device and method is disclosed for dispensing active ingredient-containing or active ingredient-carrying strips with a largely equal dosage are developed.

摘要: A foil dispensing device for on demand dispensing of sections of foil of a selectable length includes a housing comprising a lid that is hingedly engaged to a box so that the lid is positioned to selectively close an open top of the box. A motor is engaged to and positioned the box. A spindle is positionable in box to operationally engage the spindle to the motor. A roll of foil is positioned around spindle so that a free end of the roll of extends into a slot positioned in the housing. A motion sensor engaged to the housing and operationally engaged to the motor is actuated by motion of a hand of a user to signal the motor to rotate the spindle to dispense a section of the foil through the slot. A cutter positioned by the slot cuts the foil to separate the section from the roll.
