摘要: A cutting apparatus is provided for cutting a cap as it travels along an advancement path in an advancement direction. The cutting apparatus includes a spindle movable along the advancement path and rotatable around an axis thereof. The spindle is shaped to interact with the cap and to rotate the cap around the axis. A support moves along the advancement path together with the spindle. The support is shaped to interact with the cap and to retain the cap against the spindle. A cutting device is arranged to form a cut in a side wall of the cap when the spindle reaches a cutting zone provided in the advancement path. The spindle includes a hollow housing shaped to house a cap protrusion to stop rotation of the cap in a preset position with respect to the spindle to orient the cap with respect to the cutting device.

摘要: The present invention refers to a machine for cutting the external coating for drawing the Coated Pipe Preservation System for Onshore and Subsea Pipelines, called PPS System or PPS for short (FIGS. 1, 1.1 to 1.4). This Machine, called the Cutting and Drawing Manual Orbital Machine of the PPS (FIGS. 7 to 9), performs the cut at the angle (β) (2.4), executes the FBE Exposure Band (FBE Tail) (2.3), simultaneously, and draws the PPS System, in order to ensure that the Collar (Cutback) (2.2) meets the specifications regarding the finishing of the Chamfer (2.4) at the interface with the external coating of the pipe, its Length (C) (2.6) and the Width (T) of the FBE Exposure Band (FBE Tail) (2.7).
The equipment performs cutting with the pipe being static (immovable), and is applicable to pipes externally coated in three layers (3 Layer Coating), used in Onshore Pipelines (Buried Pipelines) or Subsea Pipelines (Subsea or Submerged Pipelines). It uses the PPS System to couple to the pipe, it is demountable, portable and can be manually operated without using any power source or using a commercial screwdriver.-

摘要: An apparatus for cutting a workpiece, the apparatus having a pair of spaced apart rails fixed to a handle, the rails extending away from the handle in a first direction, a guide carriage slidingly engaged with the rails, a blade carriage slidingly engaged with the rails between the handle and the guide carriage, a pair of runners for supporting the workpiece, one of the runners joined with the handle and a second one of the runners joined with the guide carriage, the runners extensive in a second direction non-parallel to the first direction, and a cutting blade engaged with the blade carriage in a position for cutting into the workpiece during relative movement between the apparatus and the workpiece. With the guide carriage adjusted for receiving the workpiece on the runners between the guide carriage and the handle, the blade carriage is adjusted to a location for severing the workpiece.

The converting assembly may be mounted on a frame such that the converting assembly is elevated above a support surface. One or more longhead converting tools performs conversion functions on the sheet material in a first direction and a crosshead converting tool performs conversion functions on the sheet material in a second direction in order to create packaging templates.

The third conveying roller is provided to overlap the first tangent or provided downstream from the first tangent, in the conveying direction.

The apparatus includes a cutting apparatus for separating the wheel weight from a supply feed of wheel weight material. The apparatus includes a sensor that detects presence or absence of the wheel weight on the tool.
