摘要： A cleaning device for cleaning a rotor disk of a spinning rotor has a cleaning head with at least one cleaning element, and a receptacle on which the cleaning head is mounted and which can be fed to the spinning rotor for cleaning the rotor disk. The cleaning head includes at least one bearing area by means of which the cleaning head is mounted on the receptacle. A longitudinal direction of the bearing area defines an axial direction of the cleaning head. The cleaning head is mounted in the axial direction in a floating manner on the receptacle, and/or the cleaning element is mounted in the axial direction in a floating manner on the cleaning head.

摘要： An open-end spinning unit includes a rotor housing and a rotor revolving in the rotor housing and having a fiber collecting groove formed therein defining a groove bottom. An apparatus for cleaning the rotor includes a cleaning device having a scraper to be positioned in a predetermined position in the fiber collecting groove of the rotor. The scraper automatically assumes an optimal length independently of its abrasion from wear upon entry of the cleaning device into the rotor, for assuring a secure placement of the scraper in the bottom of the fiber collecting groove.

A spinning rotor is disposed on the bearing and has a rotor axis and a rotor opening. A rotor housing surrounds the spinning rotor. A lid element is rotatably supported about a pivot axis. The pivot axis is oriented orthogonally to the rotor axis and is disposed approximately vertically beneath the rotor opening. The lid element covers the rotor housing and has a sliver feed roller, an opening roller, a fiber guide channel plunging into the rotor opening, a yarn draw-off opening, and a dirt separator.

摘要： Means and method are disclosed to clean the fiber collection groove of an open end rotor's cup by use of a flexible member rotated about the groove and counterrotated in the opposite rotational sense, it being the changeovers or reversals in rotational directions which apply through the tip of the flexible member the cleaning force at the points of changeover at the groove which effect the cleaning of accumulations of foreign matter. These changeovers are effected by changing relative rotation and counter rotation between the rotor cup and the flexible end member, and are controlled by a programmable control means which may include a microprocessor working through one or more motors, one of which may be a stepped motor of high torque values and occupying but little space.

摘要： An open end rotor for a spinning machine generally comprises a rotary chamber with an open end and an opposite closed end, a first annular wall extending from the open end radially outwardly from a rotational axis and toward the closed end, and a second annular wall extending from the closed end radially outwardly from the rotational axis and toward the first wall to define a fibre collecting space. The first wall comprises an inner portion forming an angle of 55.degree. to 75.degree. with a horizontal plane, and an outer portion. A straight line extending from the outer portion forms an angle of 10.degree. to 35.degree. with the inner portion. The second wall comprises an inner portion extending from the closed end, and an outer portion forming an angle of 20.degree. to 50.degree. with a straight line extending from the inner portion of the second wall. The outer portions of the first and second wall define therebetween the fibre collecting space.

摘要： A method and device for cleaning a rotor in an open-end spinning machine. While the rotor is running at a speed less than the normal r.p.m. a first flow of cleaning air is directed to a collecting groove of the rotor and a second flow of cleaning air is simultaneously directed to the periphery of the spinning rotor at an angle different from the first flow of air. In one embodiment, at least one of the flows of air is directed in a pulsating manner. The flows or streams of air are fed through ducts provided in an extension of a cover which extends within the rotor or is supplied to the rotor by means of a movable housing.

摘要： A movable cleaning device is provided for cleaning the individual rotors on spinning assemblies of an open-end spinning machine. In order to accommodate cleaning of the rotors, with the rotor shafts being out of driving contact with their operational drives, the cleaning device is equipped with braking and/or driving means for controlling the rotational speed of the spinning rotor during cleaning operations. In this manner, cleaning elements such as rotary brushes, can be held in one position, while the relative rotational movement of the spinning rotor and the brush effects cleaning of the rotor. In certain preferred embodiments, the cleaning brush itself serves to impart rotational movement to the spinning rotor, with the drive for the brush being controllable so as to assure differential velocity of the brush and spinning rotor rotation. In other preferred embodiments, separate drive mechanisms and/or brake mechanisms are carried by the cleaning device for selective engagement directly with the spinning rotor.

摘要： In order to clean the fibrous material supplied to the spinning rotors of open-end spinning units, removal openings for impurities are arranged in the area of the opener roller. These removal openings lead to collection chambers for the impurities. In order to permit these impurities to be removed from these collection chambers without any additional constructional effort for transport means having to be provided for each spinning unit and without this removal being able to have an unfavorable effect on the spinning process, this removal of impurities is handled by a travelling maintenance unit which removes the impurities from the collection chambers of the individual spinning units from time to time.
