    摘要： The present invention provides a method of controlling a washing course in a washing machine, by which a drive motor for rotating a drum is prevented from being overloaded according to a laundry amount and by which a drum can be smoothly rotated without unnecessary power consumption provided to a motor. In a washing machine having a motor for rotating a drum in a first direction, the present invention includes the steps of driving the motor to rotate the drum at a prescribed angle in the first direction, stopping driving the motor so that the drum is rotated by a gravitational force of a laundry within the drum in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and rotating the drum in the first direction again by driving the motor while the drum is rotated in the first direction switched from the first direction by the gravitational force of the laundry.

    摘要： A system for controlling a plurality of washing machines in a laundry facility which share a common resource. A plurality of autonomously operated washing machines are connected through a network, so that a slave controller of each washing machine may be controlled by a master controller of the network. The master controller issues periodic polling commands over the network to obtain status information from each of the washing machines. Each slave controller of the washing machine can be prohibited from proceeding through a washing cycle when a common resource used by all machines has reached capacity limits.

    摘要： An apparatus for the roller drive mechanism of a clothes washer which will delay spin tub rotation until a selected quantity of water has been pumped out of the tub. The spin delay apparatus includes a diaphragm movable in response to the water head in the tub. The diaphragm is operably connected to one end of an actuator lever arm which arm extends past its pivot for connection to an idler roller normally located between the drive and driven rollers in the drive mechanism. At the start of the spin cycle the actuator arm pivots the idler roller away from the drive roller until the water head indicates that the water has been pumped out of the tube to a predetermined level to obviate lint in the wash water from being left on the clothes.
