摘要: A liquid cooling leak sensor unit for an information handling system includes a cold liquid reservoir, a non-conductive material, a rigid conductive component, a wicking material, and a leak sense controller board. The non-conductive material is in physical communication with the cold liquid reservoir. The rigid conductive component is in physical communication with the non-conductive material. The wicking material is in between and in physical communication with both the cold liquid reservoir and with the rigid conductive component. The wicking material transfers liquid from the cold liquid reservoir to the rigid conductive component. The leak sense controller board is coupled to both the rigid conductive component and the cold liquid reservoir. The leak sense controller board detects a leak in the cold liquid reservoir in response to an electrical change between the rigid conductive component and the cold liquid reservoir.

The appliance also includes a first levelling leg electrically coupled to the chassis and a second levelling leg electrically isolated from the chassis. The appliance also includes a controller in operative communication with the second levelling leg and the chassis. The controller is configured for, and related methods include, monitoring electrical continuity between the second levelling leg and the chassis and detecting water on the base surface in response to electrical continuity between the second levelling leg and the chassis.

摘要: An electronic leak detection system for home humidifier using the duct air conditioning system. The leak detection system uses a simple sensor in a water collection tray under the humidifier to detect if leakage has occurred. An auxiliary solenoid valve is connected in line with the water supply to the humidifier. When leakage is detected, power to the humidifier system is shut down and an auxiliary solenoid valve is powered.

摘要: One embodiment provides a method of testing humidity. The method includes measuring i) a first weight of a first device which encloses a plurality of interferometric modulators and ii) a second weight of a second device which encloses a plurality of interferometric modulators, wherein the first and second devices contain a different amount of water vapor. The method further includes comparing the weights of the first and second devices and determining a relative humidity value or a degree of the relative humidity inside one of the two devices based at least in part upon the weight comparison. In one embodiment, the relative humidity value or degree is determined considering at least one of the following parameters: i) temperature-humidity combination inside at least one of the devices, ii) the thickness and width of a seal of the at least one device, iii) adhesive permeability of a component of the at least one device, iv) a desiccant capacity inside the at least one device and v) a device size.

摘要: An example of a gas detection system includes a gas chromatograph oven, a gas detector, a sample gas moving device, and a flow detector. An example of a method for detecting gas includes flowing a sample gas from the oven, determining whether the flow rate equals or is less than a minimum, and determining whether the concentration of a first gas of the sample gas, such as a combustible gas, equals or exceeds a maximum. If either the flow rate or the concentration indicates an error condition or is out of bounds, an alarm response is initiated. The alarm response may include shutting off the flow of the first gas to the oven, and flowing a second gas, such as a safe gas, to the oven.
