    摘要: A cryogenic fluid pump includes a drive assembly and a pumping assembly. The drive assembly includes a cylinder. The cylinder includes an annular dump channel formed in and extending about an interior wall of the cylinder. A piston is reciprocatable within the cylinder between a first and second position. A hydraulic pressure chamber is defined by the cylinder and the piston. The piston includes an axial spill passage in communication with the pressure chamber and a transverse spill passage in communication with the axial spill passage. The transverse spill passage includes a piston dump port which is sealed to the cylinder in the first position and in the second position unsealed to the cylinder to permit fluid exit from the pressure chamber. The second position includes an over travel state and the dump area of the piston dump port when unsealed to the cylinder increases as the piston advances.

    摘要: A compressor/motor has fluid processing stages, each having ports through which a fluid is accepted in one volume and expelled in another volume. A system of valves selectively couples the ports to define, for a first process of a cycle, a unidirectional fluid path through the fluid processing stages that expels the fluid from path-adjacent fluid processing stages in incrementally smaller volumes. In a second process of the cycle, a reverse unidirectional fluid path is defined by the valves where the fluid expelled from path-adjacent fluid processing stages is in incrementally larger volumes. A mechanical interface coupled to the fluid processing stages conveys a force to the fluid processing stages to compel the fluid through the fluid path in the first process or conveys the force from the fluid processing stages that is compelled by the fluid traversing the reverse fluid path.

    摘要: A turbine exhaust section comprises a turbine exhaust case having radially outer and inner ducts defining therebetween an annular exhaust portion for the hot exhaust gases, and an exhaust mixer projecting axially rearwardly from the turbine exhaust case for mixing the hot exhaust gases with a cooler bypass duct flow. The upstream end of the exhaust mixer surrounds a downstream end of the outer duct and defines therewith an axially extending overlap joint with a radial play between the outer duct and the exhaust mixer. A sliding attachment in the radial direction is provided between the outer duct and the exhaust mixer for accommodating differences in thermal growth during engine operation. The sliding attachment includes a circumferential array of sliding guides extending radially through the axially extending overlap joint. A resilient sealing ring seals the radial play between the outer duct and the exhaust mixer at the overlap joint.

    摘要: It is a task of the invention to make it possible to calculate a control target value of one actuator or control target values of a plurality of actuators regarding engine control at a high speed through the use of a multicore processor. With a view to accomplishing this task, a plurality of lattice points that are arranged on a two-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system having axes representing a first operating condition and a second operating condition respectively are associated respectively with at least one or some of a plurality of cores that are arranged in a latticed manner on the multicore processor on one-on-one level on a same line as on the two-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system, and a calculation program for calculating an optimal control value at the associated lattice point or calculation programs for calculating optimal control values at the associated lattice points are allocated respectively to at least one or some of the plurality of the cores. In addition, each of the cores with which the lattice points are associated respectively is programmed, in a case where an operation area on the two-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system to which a current operating point belongs is an area that is defined by the lattice point associated with each of the cores itself, to transmit, to an interpolation calculation core, an optimal control value at the relevant lattice point that is calculated by each of the cores itself. The interpolation calculation core is programmed to perform an interpolation calculation of an optimal control value at the current operating point using optimal control values at all the lattice points that define the operation area on the two-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system to which the current operating point belongs. In addition, the multicore processor outputs the optimal control value at the current operating point, which is obtained from the interpolation calculation core, as a control target value of each of the actuators.
