摘要: A work platform (10) for performing a cable operation on a cable on a vessel having a vessel deck (7) has chutes (19a, 19b) for guiding the cable from the sea and onto the work platform (10), an overboarding system (18) and a number of modules (11, 12, 13, 14, 15). Each module (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) has a deck section and a support structure for supporting the deck section at a distance above the vessel deck (7). Each module (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) is configured to be lifted separately onto and away from the vessel deck (7). The deck sections of the modules together form a mezzanine deck on which the cable operation is performed. The overboarding system (18) is secured to the mezzanine deck. At least some of the equipment for performing the cable operation is stored below the mezzanine deck.

摘要: A sliding subsea foundation comprises a polymeric shoe layer on the underside of a mudmat or subsea structure. The shoe layer defines a soil-engaging face that comprises an array of parallel grooves. The grooves are shallower than the thickness of the shoe layer such that each groove has a closed top, defined by and integral with the shoe layer, that spans the groove. Where a subsea structure is supported on the foundation with a subsea pipeline attached to the structure, the grooves are substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the pipeline.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for thermal management of subsea interconnecting conduit such as jumpers that provide cooling and heat retention of production fluids within the jumpers. In a jumper circuit, parallel sections of jumper are provided having differing amounts of heat transfer between surrounding seawater and production fluids flowing within. Valving is provided to control fluid flow between the parallel sections of jumper, thus controlling the amount of heat transfer between the surrounding seawater and the jumper circuit. A control system can be used to generate an alarm based on fluid temperature and/or fluid flow rate within the jumper circuit indicating the need to adjust the valving to manage the temperature of fluids within the jumper circuit. Changes may be needed particularly depending on the phase of production, e.g., early life, normal operation, shut down and late life operation.

摘要: A system includes a foundation with a post mounted on the foundation top surface and a pipe module configured to couple to the foundation. The pipe module has a yoke to cooperate with the post to engage the pipe module with the foundation. A method includes deploying a foundation subsea and securing the foundation to a seafloor. The foundation has a post. The method includes deploying the pipe module via the pipeline suspended by a pipe module installation machine. The pipe module has a yoke. The method includes engaging the yoke with the post, paying out the pipeline to lower the yoke, and lowering and engaging the pipe module with the foundation.
