    摘要: A cooling system including a vaporizer configured to absorb heat due to a liquid-phase refrigerant being vaporized, a condenser configured to discharge heat due to a refrigerant in a gaseous phase state being liquefied, a resistance body provided in a middle of a pipe passage ranging from the vaporizer to the condenser and applying a resistance to the refrigerant, state detection sensors provided in the pipe passage on an upstream and downstream sides of the resistance body and detecting a state of the refrigerant flowing through each side inside the pipe passage, and a flow rate controller configured to detect droplets in the refrigerant flowing through the pipe passage on the basis of a difference between detection values of the state detection sensors which are detected on the upstream and downstream sides of the resistance body, and controls a flow rate of the refrigerant on the basis of detection results.

    摘要: A refrigeration system includes a compressor having a hermetically sealed housing and a compression mechanism which is positioned inside the housing; a condenser which is fluidly connected to the compressor; an evaporator which is fluidly connected between the condenser and the compressor; a magnetic coupling having a drive coupling half positioned outside the housing and a driven coupling half positioned inside the housing and separated from the drive coupling half by a separation wall portion of the housing; and a fluid conduit for communicating a portion of liquid refrigerant from the condenser to an inside surface of the separation wall portion. During operation, the liquid refrigerant from the condenser is evaporated on or adjacent the inside surface of the separation wall portion to thereby dissipate heat generated by magnetically induced eddy currents in the separation wall portion.

Refrigeration cycle ejector power generator comprises: a condenser, an expansion valve, an evaporator, a compressor, an ejector valve, a first ejector, a turbine, and a controller or computer. Refrigeration cycle ejector power generator is a refrigeration cycle with at least one ejector positioned in the refrigeration cycle that emits refrigerant at a high pressure and high velocity that is directed at a turbine, causing it to rotate, where this rotational energy may be used to turn a generator, thereby generating electricity.

    摘要: A thermal management system for a vehicle includes a tank, a heat exchanger, a pump, and a valve located on a conduit. The heat exchanger is located downstream of the tank, the pump is located between the tank and the heat exchanger, and the valve is located downstream of the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger places the coolant in a heat exchange relationship with a heat load from the vehicle such that the coolant vaporizes. The valve regulates pressure within the heat exchanger and controls exhaustion of the vaporized coolant from the vehicle. Water, used as a coolant, can be replenished in flight by condensing a portion of the heat exchanger exhaust or condensing water as part of the environmental control system function or by condensing a portion of the engine exhaust.

    摘要: A steam injector including an introducing portion introducing a liquid flow of a refrigerant and a steam flow of the refrigerant; a mixing portion that has a shape with an internal cross-sectional area decreasing toward a moving direction of the liquid flow, and internally mixes the jet-like liquid flow with the steam flow to form a refrigerant flow; a throat portion formed on an outlet side of the mixing portion; and a diffuser portion that has a shape with an internal cross-sectional area increasing from the throat portion toward a moving direction of the refrigerant flow, and discharges the refrigerant flow at an increased pressure from a discharge portion. The throat portion has an internal cross-sectional area smaller than a critical cross-sectional area at which a discharge pressure of the refrigerant flow discharged from the discharge portion nonlinearly increases when the internal cross-sectional area of the throat portion is reduced.

    摘要: A heat transfer system combining a solar collector and a vapor jet compressor pump. The solar collector provides two streams of heated vapor, one at a relatively high temperature and one at a relatively low temperature. The high temperature vapor provides the motive vapor for the vapor jet compressor pump. The vapor jet compressor pump entrains the lower temperature vapor and acts as a heat pump effectively pumping its temperature to a higher temperature useful for space heating. The solar energy supply may be supplemented by an auxiliary convention energy source and the vapor jet compressor pump may be supplemented by a self-energized circulation pump.

    摘要: This invention discloses an extremely simple chemical heat pump system utilizing the chemical reaction heat of a perfectly reversible chemical disassociation reaction system wherein one gaseous compound is involved in the reversible reaction. The present system can realize a large coefficient of performance over a very attractive temperature range and level for general use, by absence of any phase transition. Reaction kinetics of the system are excellent since only one reversible non-flammable gaseous compound is involved in the chemical heat pump system. The system can be provided with a computer controlled system for changing the restriction value of the expansion valve. The system utilizes jet ejectors in combination with the compressor in the same or different loops to reduce the capacity requirements on the compressor.
