摘要: A cooling device for reducing the temperature of cooked warm food in a liquid or paste-like state held in a container, in particular in a standard trolley, is provided. The cooling device includes a plate-like covering member which covers the opening cross-section of the container or of the standard trolley, wherein the covering member has vertically arranged cooling elements on the lower face thereof, which cooling elements, when the cooling device is attached and lowered, are immersed in the density of the food and a cooling medium circulates through the cooling elements, which cooling medium extracts the stored heat from the food. A stripping plate designed as a perforated sheet or as a perforated plate is provided on the lower face of the covering member, which stripping plate removes remaining food from the cooling elements during withdrawal of the cooling device.

摘要: A system for cleaning heat exchange tubes includes one or more cleaning robots that are assembled with the tubes. Each cleaning robot includes a housing having an opening extending therethrough for receiving one of the heat exchange tubes, a scraper blade extending into the opening of the housing, the scraper blade having an inner scraping edge that opposes the outer surface of one of the tubes, a wheel coupled with the housing for rolling over the outer surface of the tube, and a motor for driving rotation of the wheel to move the cleaning robot over the outer surface of the tube. The system includes a system controller with one or more microprocessors and one or more software programs for monitoring and controlling operation of the cleaning robots.

摘要: Provided is an inexpensive scrape-off type heat exchanger that is simple in construction, eliminating the need for using a pump for forcibly feeding the process fluid. With the scrape-off type heat exchanger (1), when a suction delivery element (30) which is rotated, while making a reciprocating motion, being closely contacted with an inner wall (200) of the heat transfer tube (20), is traveled from the process fluid inlet part (21) side toward a process fluid outlet part (22), the process fluid is sucked from a process fluid inlet part (21) into the inside of the heat transfer tube (20), and at the same time, the process fluid, which has already been sucked in, passed through the suction delivery element (30), and discharged to the process fluid outlet part (22) side, through the check valves 310, 320, is forced out to the process fluid outlet part (22). In the inside of the heat transfer tube (20), the process fluid is subjected to heat exchange with a heating/cooling medium which flows in between the jacket tube 10 and the heat transfer tube (20). The process fluid attached to the inner wall (200) of the heat transfer tube (20) is scraped off while the scraping part (33) being rotated.

摘要: A pipe scraper assembly is forced through condenser pipe interiors for scraping residue off the inner wall surface. The scraper assembly is formed with a cylindrical body with a head and a tail end. Several mutually spaced apart rings are coaxially and rotatably supported on the cylindrical body between the head and the tail end. The diameter of the rings corresponds to the inner diameter of the pipe to be scraped. The rings have a radial cut formed therein which extends obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body.

摘要: A refrigerating apparatus having a self-cleaning valve for use with a liquid refrigerant such as carbon dioxide which exists when the pressure is released only briefly as a liquid and primarily both as a solid and a gas. The valve is self-cleaning in that opening and closing the valve dislodges solid carbon dioxide from the interior which would normally clog a valve with a liquid refrigerant of this type and with the self-cleaning feature comprising a knife edged scraping portion on either the valve seat part or the movable part so as to dislodge deposited carbon dioxide or similar refrigerant solid when the valve is operated. The disclosure also includes an apparatus including means for introducing the fluid refrigerant through a plurality of flow paths that span substantially the full width of a refrigerant chamber and with a self-cleaning valve of the above type positioned in each flow path and primarily exteriorly of the chamber.
