    摘要: A method and a rapper device for cleaning a heat exchange surface in a pressure vessel. The rapper device includes a striker rod which has one end contacting the heat exchange surface in the pressure vessel and one end projecting out of the pressure vessel via a passage opening. The rapper device also includes an impacting device for impacting the projecting end of the striker rod. A section of the striker rod is slideably supported in a pressure chamber adjacent the passage opening. The pressure chamber is connected to a sealing gas supply maintaining the pressure in the pressure chamber at a higher level than the pressure in the pressure vessel. A bellows defines a pressure chamber around at least a section of the striker rod.

    摘要: A pipe scraper assembly is forced through condenser pipe interiors for scraping residue off the inner wall surface. The scraper assembly is formed with a cylindrical body with a head and a tail end. Several mutually spaced apart rings are coaxially and rotatably supported on the cylindrical body between the head and the tail end. The diameter of the rings corresponds to the inner diameter of the pipe to be scraped. The rings have a radial cut formed therein which extends obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body.

    摘要: A device for cooling a gas that forms deposits has an upright container through which the gas to be cooled flows. At least two heating surface units with at least one heating surface of a closed geometry are provided. The heating surface units are positioned within the upright container one atop the other. A cooling medium flows through the heating surface units. Each heating surface has coordinated therewith a beating device. The container has a support and an upper one of the heating surface units is supported at the support of the container. At least one array of connecting tubes for conveying the cooling medium is provided. The array of connecting tubes connects respectively a lower one of the heating surfaces units to an adjacent upper one of the heating surface units such that the cooling medium flows sequentially through the heating surface units. The array of connecting tubes has an open geometry such that a beating effect of the beating devices on the heating surfaces is unimpaired by the array of connecting tubes.

    摘要: An apparatus for the treatment of a gas, air in particular, having an elevated temperature and being contaminated by condensable pollutions, to purify the gas and recover heat. The apparatus aims at a high efficiency of heat recovery as well as purification of the gas while simultaneously avoiding environmental pollutants problems.According to the invention the method is characterized by transferring heat from the gas to a heat collecting fluid by means of a system of heat transferring surfaces, while applying to the gas a turbulent flow. By cooling the gas, the contaminations present therein are transferred into a solid or liquid state, the turbulence enhancing an aggregation of condensed contaminations and the deposition of the contaminations onto the heat transferring surfaces, said surfaces then being mechanically and/or chemically and/or thermically cleaned, as the case may be with the apparatus used for executing the method in operation.An apparatus according to the invention comprises a plurality of tubes (31) for a heat collecting fluid, said tubes being arranged perpendicularly to the direction of flow (A-B) of the gas, said tubes each being provided with a cleaning member (34) arranged to be exposed to a reciprocating movement along the tube, for which purpose said cleaning member are connectable with driving means (35, 36).     摘要: A primary air duct for a chemical recovery furnace is rectangular in cross section. Smelt accumulates on the walls of the air duct at the furnace end. A scraper structure is comprised of a pair of C-channels hinged together at one end. A mechanism moves the hinged scraper forward so it can be guided into scraping contact with the duct walls. The edges of the C-channels are guided by pin and groove engagement between the channels and the duct walls. The scraper is reciprocated from an inoperative position to a scraping mode by a rod to which force is applied.
