摘要: Methods and apparatus for leak isolation and detection are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus includes first housing portion to be coupled to a fluid manifold with a first seal positioned therebetween, the manifold corresponding to a thermal cooling loop associated with cooling of a compute device, a second housing portion to be coupled to the first housing portion with a second seal positioned therebetween, the first and second seals to define a substantially sealed internal volume that at least partially surrounds the manifold, and a sensor in the internal volume to detect a presence of leaked fluid in the internal volume.

摘要: A leak in the membrane of a generally horizontal roof support deck includes dividing the membrane into separate zones and locating a sensor to detect moisture underneath the membrane. A unique digital code address is assigned to sensor where inputs of the sensors are connected to a single power and signaling cable system using a daisy chain. The serial bus controller is to interrogate each of the sensor devices using the address to identify zones where moisture is detected. A transmitting antenna is provided at each sensor which is switched on when moisture is detected for detecting of the sensor from above the membrane by a utility locate device to confirm the location of the sensor.

摘要: A water heater includes a leak detection system. The leak detection system includes a leak sensor assembly that is disposed in a bottom pan of the water heater. The leak sensor assembly includes a sensor housing that has a sensor channel that is formed therein such that the sensor channel is disposed at an elevation from a base of the bottom pan when the sensor housing is disposed on the base of the bottom pan. Further, the leak sensor assembly includes a leak sensor that is disposed in the sensor channel of the sensor housing. The leak sensor detects water that leaks from the water heater and accumulates in the bottom pan when a level of the water in the bottom pan rises to the elevation of the sensor channel and the leak sensor that is disposed therein.
