    摘要: A direction detection device includes: antennas that receive a received wave; an intensity difference imparting unit that imparts intensity differences different depending on the received-wave arrival direction to intensities of the received wave; a storage unit that stores an intensity difference table in which the intensity difference between two of the antennas is associated with the received-wave arrival direction, for each combination of any two of the antennas; a detector that detects an intensity difference between the two antennas and a phase difference between the two antennas, of the received wave; an extractor that extracts, from the table, a received-wave arrival direction corresponding to the detected intensity difference, for each combination; a calculation unit that calculates a received-wave arrival direction corresponding to the detected phase difference; and a comparator that compares the extracted received-wave arrival direction with the calculated received-wave arrival direction to acquire a matched received-wave arrival direction.

In regards to a positioning system, the positioning system is caused to determine a signal strength of signals received from at least first and second directive antennas of a beacon and at least a non-directive antenna of the beacon. The positioning system is also caused to normalize the signal strength of the signals received from the first and second directive antennas based on the signal strength of the signals received from the non-directive antenna in order to determine normalized signal strengths of the signals received from the first and second directive antennas. The positioning system is further caused to determine an angle at which the signals from the beacon propagate based upon the normalized signals strengths.

    摘要: A sensor includes a reception antenna, a parasitic antenna terminating in a variable load, a controller, a transmitter transmitting a transmission signal, a receiver, a memory, and a processor. The controller sets an impedance value of the variable load. The receiver receives a first signal formed of signals received by the antennas and derived from the transmission signal, and the signal received by the parasitic antenna corresponding to the impedance value. The memory stores a first signal strength value of the first signal corresponding to the impedance value. The processor sets candidates of a complex propagation channel, calculates second signal strength values of a second signal respectively corresponding to the candidates, estimates a target complex propagation channel by selecting a candidate corresponding to a minimum difference among differences between the first signal strength value and the second signal strength values, and estimates a direction of arrival of the first signal.
