    Abstract: The present invention relates to a home appliance, a home appliance upgrade method and a home appliance upgrade system. The home appliance upgrade system according to the present invention allows a home appliance to be software-upgraded directly in the appliance itself without linking with an application (app) of a user terminal. To this end, the home appliance upgrade system allows the home appliance to download and store new upgrade software from a management server without user intervention, output an upgrade notification message on the screen thereof when power is turned on or a specific function starts, and record, in a control unit of the appliance, the software selected by a user without being controlled by a smart phone app, so that an upgrade thereof can be executed in the appliance device itself. According to the present invention, the home appliance can be upgraded to new software in the appliance itself without using a smart phone, and thus cumbersome operations in which a user goes back and forth between a home appliance and a smart phone are eliminated.

    Abstract: In one example, a storage medium with program instructions to deploy immutable-image software to retail branch devices is disclosed. The operations include accessing a user-interface change request to initiate an event on a remote computer system. The event is a deployment of immutable branch-image software to alter or reimage existing software on the remote computer system. The operations include authenticating an identity of a user interface operator, publishing an event message (preload and build) on a messaging databus. An agent communicating with the remote computer system subscribes to the messaging databus. The operations for that include subscribing, by an agent on the remote computer system, to the messaging databus for the event message, storing the immutable branch-image software in a repository accessible via a secure network socket, retrieving the immutable branch-image software onto the remote computer system, and triggering installation of the immutable branch-image software on the remote computer system.

    Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for implementing dynamic virtual network access is provided. The method includes monitoring hardware devices associated with network locations comprising data and software code. In response, updates applied to the data and software code are detected and a context of the updates is determined. Based on the context, it is determined that that the updates applied to the data and software code should be cloned and associated user access is verified. A target component location associated with the updates applied to the data and software code to be cloned is determined and the updates applied to the data and software code with respect to the target component location are cloned.     Abstract: A method for performing a software update that reduces down time in a Radio Access Network (RAN) is disclosed. A first computing device receives first Distributed Unit (DU) configuration information including an address of a first radio unit (RU) device. The first computing device cause the first RU device to stores an address of the first computing device as a value of a configuration parameter. After a second computing device installs software, the second computing device receives the first DU configuration information including the address of the first RU device. The first computing device receives an instruction to stop data transmission to the first RU device. The second computing device causes the first RU device stores an address of the second computing device as the value of the configuration parameter. The second computing device receives an instruction to start data transmission to the first RU device.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide a web-based editing tool that intelligently leverages certain functionality of a browser, web client, desktop client, and native software at the client side to provide seamless user experience when editing a file over a network. Responsive to a user selecting a file for editing, the web client may send a passive content request to a web server embedded in the desktop client at a specific address on the client device. If no response, the web client prompts the user to start or install the desktop client on the client device. If a response is received, the web client sends a request to the desktop client with a user identifier and authorization to download the file from a server. The desktop client downloads the file, opens it in the native software, monitors the file being edited, and updates a delta associated with the file to the server.
