Abstract: Techniques described herein include assessing factors that may affect the quality of software under development by a development team or that may be used to evaluate the health of software already deployed in a computing environment. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes collecting, by a computing system, historical information about a plurality of prior development projects; correlating, by the computing system, the historical information with each of a plurality of developers that participated in one or more of the plurality of prior development projects; collecting, by the computing system, information about an application developed by a subset of the plurality of developers; generating, by the computing system and based on the information about the application and the correlated historical information, a predicted outcome for the application; and taking an action, by the computing system and based on the predicted outcome, to prevent the predicted outcome.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for implementing dynamic virtual network access is provided. The method includes monitoring hardware devices associated with network locations comprising data and software code. In response, updates applied to the data and software code are detected and a context of the updates is determined. Based on the context, it is determined that that the updates applied to the data and software code should be cloned and associated user access is verified. A target component location associated with the updates applied to the data and software code to be cloned is determined and the updates applied to the data and software code with respect to the target component location are cloned. A notification indicating the cloning is transmitted to users.

Abstract: Various embodiments for deduplication of APIs using similarity measures and artificial intelligence are described herein. An embodiment operates by receiving a request to compare a first computing program to a second computing program, wherein each computing program includes an address, one or more tables accessed by a respective computing program, one or more input parameters, and one or more output parameters. Similarity measures are calculated between the addresses, tables, input parameters, and output parameters of the two computing programs. The similarity measures are provided to a trained artificial intelligence (AI) model, which generates a similarity determination. Performed an action based on the similarity determination.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for application of storage retention policies to a software deployment pipeline in response to code branch mergers. One method comprises, in response to a request to merge a first code branch of a first stage with a second code branch of a second stage of a software deployment pipeline: initiating a transition of the software deployment pipeline from a software repository associated with the first stage to a software repository associated with the second stage; and applying a software retention policy to the software repository associated with the first stage. The merge of the first code branch with the second code branch may be performed in connection with a pull request. The transition of the software deployment pipeline from the software repository associated with the first stage to the software repository associated with the second stage may be performed in connection with a build promotion.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards minimizing energy requirements of nodes/servers during periods of low resource usage by collection of pods deployed on the nodes. An application can be deployed on a set of nodes via a set of pods. During a period(s) of low application resource requirement, a subset of the available nodes can be powered down to reduce the operational overhead/energy consumption of the set of nodes. Prior to powering down, any pods operating of the subset of nodes can be redeployed to nodes that are to remain powered, thereby freeing up the subset of nodes to be powered down. Operation of the subset of powered nodes can be monitored to determine the pods exerting operational pressure on the resources, whereby the subset of nodes currently powered down can be powered up to make their resources available to reduce the operational pressure of the pods.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computer-implemented processes that manage adaptively queued compliance workflow through a virtualization of robotic process automation (RPA) techniques and that manage adaptively a testing and “de-risking” of target programmatic interfaces through a virtualization of additional RPA techniques. In some examples, an apparatus may obtain an element of response data from a programmatic interface based on a corresponding element of input data. The apparatus may determine that the element of response data deviates from an expected response of the programmatic interface to the element of input data, and generate exception data characterizing the determined deviation. The apparatus may also modify at least one functionality of the programmatic interface in accordance with the exception data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for dynamically detecting mobile environment information are provided. In some implementations, a method for detecting mobile environment information for advertisement requests, the method comprising: receiving a request for advertising content from an advertisement tag; applying one or more JavaScript objects to return a URL of an advertisement web view, wherein the advertisement website is generated by an advertisement software development kit to contain an advertisement responsive to the request; extracting keywords from the URL of the advertisement web view; determining whether the advertisement tag is running within a mobile application based on a comparison of the extracted keywords with known mobile application information; in response to determining that the advertisement tag is running within the mobile application, determining the advertisement software development kit from a plurality of advertisement software development kits that the advertisement tag is running in by: applying a plurality of JavaScript objects that are made available by the advertisement software development kit to return properties of the advertisement software development kit; and comparing the returned properties with a database of known software development kit information; and transmitting an indication that associates the advertisement software development kit used within a mobile application environment with the advertisement tag.
