Abstract: Facilitating collaboration in a multiuser communication session includes detecting initiation of an interaction between a user of a first device and a virtual object in a multiuser communication session, where the first device and a second device are active in the multiuser communication session, and where state information is synchronized among the first device and second device in the multiuser communication session. In accordance with detecting the initiation of an interaction between the user and the virtual object, synchronization of state information is suspended by the first device, where the state information is related to the interaction between the user and the virtual object. A representation of the multiuser communication session at the first device and a representation of the multiuser communication session at the second device are inconsistent in accordance with the suspended synchronization of the state information.

Abstract: An apparatus for synchronizing a three-dimensional model of a patient's coronary arteries with an orientation of a medical imaging device is disclosed. In an example, an apparatus is configured to receive an indication that a three-dimensional model has been rotated. The indication includes a number of degrees of rotation of the three-dimensional model along a roll and/or pitch axis. The processor uses a correlation or transfer function to determine a rotational angulation position of the medical imaging device based on the number of degrees of rotation of the three-dimensional model along the roll and/or pitch axis. The processor transmits a command or instruction to the medical imaging device that is indicative of the desired rotational angulation position, thereby causing the medical imaging device to rotate to the desired position.

The device for providing an augmented reality service comprises: a camera; a display unit; a POI object detection unit that detects POI objects from image information of the camera; a coordinate conversion unit that sequentially converts the coordinates of the detected POI objects into coordinates in an orthogonal projection space; a rendering unit that renders AR objects in the orthogonal projection space; and a control unit that causes the coordinate conversion unit to convert the coordinates of the POI objects into coordinates in the orthogonal projection space according to a screen of the display unit, causes the rendering unit to render the AR objects at positions of each of the converted coordinates of the POI objects, and causes the display unit to display the rendered AR objects.

Abstract: An information processing device according to an embodiment includes a first acquisition unit, a first recognition unit, a second recognition unit, a second acquisition unit, and an output unit. The first acquisition unit obtains an image from a camera installed in a moving vehicle. The first recognition unit recognizes a symbol attached to the article from the image to obtain identification information for identifying the article from the symbol. The second recognition unit recognizes an action performed on the article by the moving vehicle based on a change in size of the symbol recognized by the first recognition unit from the image. The second acquisition unit obtains location information of the article when an action of the moving vehicle is recognized. The output unit outputs association information obtained by associating the identification information and the location information of the article with each other.

Robot system data associated with the surgical robotic system is logged. Object recognition is performed on image data produced by the one or more depth cameras, to recognized objects, including surgical equipment and people, in the operating room (OR). The surgical exercise is digitized by storing the 3D point cloud data of unrecognized objects, a position and orientation associated with the recognized objects, and c) the robot system data.
