    摘要: The invention relates to a switch for an electrical device, in particular for an electrical tool, comprising a slide control (20) for setting a rotational speed of the electrical device, a switch housing, and at least one circuit board (30) arranged in the switch housing for holding electrical components of the slide control. According to the invention, a movably supported operating element (21.4) of the slide control is inserted into a contact chamber (12) of the switch housing in a sealed manner through a first feed-through (11) and is led out of the contact chamber in a sealed manner through a second feed-through (44.1) in all adjustment positions of the operating element. Thus, a switch that ensures reliable function even under ambient conditions of high contamination is provided.

    摘要: A lever type switching assembly having a pair of generally U-shaped spring blade contact members disposed in oppositely spaced-parallel arrangement for alternate actuation by a common paddle lever frictionally contacting the contact members for effecting switching upon user movement of the lever in a clockwise direction. Each contact blade member has one end pivoted on a center contact for rocking motion to cause the U-shaped region and the opposite end of the blade member to make and break contact with side-contacts on opposite sides of the center contact. Overtravel of the paddle in one direction after actuation causes the contact blade member to break from the side contact and make contact with an auxiliary contact. A spring biased plunger on the paddle lever engages a detent surface on the base to give a tactiley discernible indication.

    摘要: A switch having a small thickness and constructed easily from a reduced number of parts comprises two complementary molded switch case members, each of which has fixed contacts with terminals integrally formed therewith and a common contact with a terminal integrally formed therewith. An operation member consisting of a disc portion and a stopper portion integrally formed therewith is provided between the case members and movable contacts having contact projections on their outer surfaces are secured to respective side surfaces of the disc portion of the operation member. A shaft member passes through the case members, the movable contacts and the operation member and is held in place with a fastener member. The upper portions of the case members are formed so as to define a slot therebetween which restricts rotary movement of the stopper portion projecting from the operation member.

    摘要: In a preferred form, this disclosure relates to a light switch assembly having a housing means carrying a stationary ground terminal and a plurality of stationary terminals positioned in a spaced relationship about the ground terminal, a pivotally supported bridging contact member, and a swivelly supported actuator means. The bridging contact member is pivotally supported upon the ground terminal for movement to different positions to bridge different ones of the stationary terminals and the ground terminal. The actuator means is swivelly supported by the housing means for pivoting the bridging contact member to different positions. Further, the actuator means includes a plunger member which is spring biased into engagement with a dome portion on the bridging contact member. The plunger member rolls in engagement with the dome portion when the actuator means is manipulated to maintain a substantially equal distribution of pressure upon the bridging contact member when it is moved to its different positions.
