摘要: The disclosure provides a chemical reduction of a metal in a cable of an electrical network, which brings about an improvement in the conductive properties of said metal and a reduction in losses during electric power transmission. The invention discloses a reducing compound with a high concentration of quasi-free electrons, which is obtained as a result of the solvation of metals selected from group I and group II of the main group of the periodic table of elements and of amines selected from the group consisting of: pyridine, and dimethylformamide dispersed in a liquid oligomer, with a metal:amine:dielectric molar ratio of 1:2:1.5, allowing, in an alternating electromagnetic field, to initiate a pulsed injection of electrons into the network with a periodicity equal to frequency of alternation of the voltage.

摘要: A tethered aerial system includes an on-board fuel cell for powering on-board electronics and a tether cable which is less conductive than air. The tether cable includes a pipe for carrying a flow of gas to the fuel cell and/or maintain the gas level in a lighter-than-air platform, so that the tethered aerial system can remain operational for an extended period of time. The system is particularly applicable for maintaining communication links in remote areas, agriculture and applications in the IoT (Internet of Things), event coverage, interactive marketing, for post-disaster situations in rural areas and at mining sites or construction sites in remote environments. The system also is immune to rays.

摘要: This proposed system provides a method to generate electrical power for space-based orbiting satellites, probes, stations, habitations, and interplanetary missions. Electricity is generated by collecting the flow of ionized plasma in the solar system for low earth applications and in the solar wind beyond the earth's magnetosphere, then directing the plasma through a channel using the principle of magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD). The channel has conducting electrodes on two sides and a magnetic field directed orthogonally to the plasma flow direction. This results in an electrical current to power spacecraft functions such as batteries, communications, propulsion, guidance, navigation and control. This MHD generator has the potential of providing higher power generation density (e.g., watts/kg) for spacecraft than photo-voltaic panels. The design includes a control system to maintain voltage quality, regulate electromagnet power and control ion inlet scoop RF frequency and voltage in response to changing space ionized plasma conditions.

摘要: A body force per unit mass acting on mobile charge carriers within a first electrically conducting material is configured to induce at least one region of accumulation of charge within at least a portion of the first material. The magnitude of the associated change in the voltage between two given points within the first material is a function of the relevant electrical properties of the material. A second electrically conducting material can be electrically coupled to the first material via a first electrical contact. The relevant electrical properties of the second material can be configured to be different to the relevant electrical properties of the first material. The voltage difference between the two points in the first material can be different to the voltage difference between two equivalent points in the second material. The difference in the voltage difference can be employed to increase the voltage of mobile charge carriers within a portion of an open or closed electrical circuit relative to another portion of said circuit. A voltage conversion apparatus and method can be used to convert thermal energy into electrical energy, for example.
