摘要: In one aspect, a pouch includes a first panel, a second panel, and a bottom gusset, wherein the first panel, second panel, and bottom gusset are formed of a polyester-based film structure and wherein the bending stiffness of the bottom gusset panel is less than or equal to 0.05 N/mm. Each of the polyester-based film structures may be formed of a polyester-based polymeric composition comprising polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or a blend from 0-100% by weight of PBT in PET. It is contemplated that each polyester-based film structure may comprise two or more film plies laminated to each other.

摘要: A recyclable, laminated polyolefin-based film structure comprises two or more film plies laminated to each other. Each of the laminated film plies comprises one or more polyolefin-based films. The film structure has an energy-cured coating layer disposed on the outermost outward facing surface of the film structure and a printed ink layer on an interior surface of one of the polyolefin-based polyolefin layers. In certain embodiments, the outermost surface of the laminated polyolefin-based film structure has a melting temperature which is at least 100 degrees Celsius, and more preferably 180 degrees Celsius, higher than a melting temperature of the innermost surface of the laminated polyolefin-based film structure.

摘要: A recyclable packaging film comprising a coextruded web having a high degree of optical clarity and a high level of moisture barrier. The coextruded web comprises a skin layer comprising polyethylene having a high degree of optical clarity and a heat sealant layer which forms an innermost layer of the packaging film, the heat sealant layer comprising a polyolefin polymer. The coextruded web also includes a moisture barrier layer which is disposed intermediate the skin layer and the heat sealant layer. An energy-cured coating is disposed on the skin layer of the coextruded web, wherein the energy-cured coating has a coating weight which is effective to impart a property in the packaging film selected from reduced susceptibility to melting, reduced susceptibility to stretching, or both.
