The present disclosure also provides for a sterilizable tray obtained from the sterilizable fibrous material.

摘要: A film material that is a blend of a first polymer, and a second polymer. The first polymer is synthesized from one or more bio-based monomers, and has a molecular weight that is less than or equal to 60 kilodaltons. The second polymer is one of: a carbohydrate, and a functionalised carbohydrate derived from one or more bio-based materials. The ratio of first polymer to second polymer within the film material is at least 25:75 by weight. A packaging material has a substrate, and a layer that is formed of the film material, which is assembled into a substantially continuous film on a carrying surface of the substrate. The layer is formed to a thickness that is efficacious in providing a barrier to transmission of oxygen and/or water vapour to the carrying surface of the substrate.

摘要: Oil and grease resistant paper products are disclosed that include a substrate and, on at least one side of the substrate, a continuous layer of a barrier coating, the barrier coating comprising a binder system and a pigment. The barrier coating, when applied to the substrate and dried to form a barrier layer, has a Pigment Volume Concentration (PVC) that is below a Critical Pigment Volume Concentration (CPVC) of the barrier coating, providing a continuous three-dimensional film of the binder system. In some implementations the binder system comprising a latex and a natural binder and/or the paper product further includes a topcoat disposed on a side of the barrier coating opposite the substrate.

摘要: In one aspect, a pouch includes a first panel, a second panel, and a bottom gusset, wherein the first panel, second panel, and bottom gusset are formed of a polyester-based film structure and wherein the bending stiffness of the bottom gusset panel is less than or equal to 0.05 N/mm. Each of the polyester-based film structures may be formed of a polyester-based polymeric composition comprising polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or a blend from 0-100% by weight of PBT in PET. It is contemplated that each polyester-based film structure may comprise two or more film plies laminated to each other.
