    Abstract: The electric incandescent lamp has a sintered glass plate (1) through which current conductors (2) and a metal tube (3) extend. An incandescent body (4) is connected to said current conductors (2) aligned with respect to the plate (1). A glass bulb (5) is present over the incandescent body (4), gastight secured to the plate (1) by means of enamel (6). A water getter (20) and a heavy gas at an elevated pressure are present inside the glass bulb (5). The lamp may consume a relatively high power and may be relatively small, but nevertheless has a relatively long life.

    Abstract: A safety high-voltage halogen bulb includes an envelope (1), a filament (2), a filament support, molybdenum foils (4) and molybdenum lead wires (5). The chamber of the bulb (1) is filled with the halogen gas. The filament (2) is positioned in the chamber of the bulb (1) and is supported or hanged by the filament support. The bulb is characterized that the filament support is a supporting glass suspender made of the same material with that of the bulb. The supporting glass suspender is an extending portion in the chamber of the bulb (1). The bulb is further characterized that the middle portion of the filament (2) is hanged or supported on the supporting glass suspender. The bulb is further characterized that the two legs of the filament (2) extend downward into the glass body on the underside of the bulb (1) and then extend through the molybdenum foils (4) and the molybdenum lead wires (5) towards the outside of the bulb (1). Therefore, the bulb is formed as a bulb structure in which only the filament (2) as a conductor gets through the chamber of the bulb (1) by itself. The present invention utilizes the supporting glass suspender instead of the known tungsten- molybdenum support so that it has a simple structure, and the filament is the only conductor and any of other conductors doesn't get through or isn't exposed in the chamber of the bulb. The design avoids the large arc produced at the time of the filament damaged and then prevents the risk of the bulb blast. So the present invention can effectively prevent the bulb blast caused by sparking, shot-circuit, impulse voltage and filament-broken so that it improves the service life and the safety of the bulb.

    Abstract: Eine einseitig gequetschte Mittel- oder Hochvolt-Glühlampe mit einem Lampengefäß (1) und einer darin angeordneten Glühwendel (4) weist an zumindest einem Ende der Glühwendel (4) eine Ummantelung (9) aus Isoliermaterial auf. Bevorzugt ist die Ummantelung (9) als Glasröhrchen ausgebildet, das über ein, vorzugsweise über jedes Ende der Glühwendel (4) geschoben ist. Dadurch wird wirkungsvoll verhindert, dass wenn am Lebensdauerende der Lampe ein Lichtbogen zwischen den Glühwendelabschnitten entsteht, dieser an den Enden der Glühwendel (4) entlang bis in den Quetschfuß (1b) hinein brennt und die Lampe dadurch platzt. Durch die Glasröhrchen (9) entspricht die erfindungsgemäße Lampe also auch ohne zusätzliche äußere Sicherheitsvorkehrungen bereits den Sicherheitsanforderungen der Vorschrift IEC 60432-3.
