Abstract: The present invention provides a clip for retaining a first conduit to a second conduit, the first conduit including a first connector and the second conduit including a second connector. The first connector is releasable connected to the second connector. The clip comprises a base portion and a first clip portion extending away from the base portion. The first clip portion has a first opening that is sized to frictionally retain the first connector. The clip further comprises a second clip portion disposed, on the base portion away from the first clip portion. The second clip portion includes a second opening that is sized to frictionally retain the second connector. The present invention further provides a method for securing a first conduit to a second conduit by attaching a clip to the first conduit and the second conduit.

Abstract: A catheter retaining clip (100) including first and second generally straight body portions (104,106), each of which extends along a longitudinal axis parallel to the other and includes a retention section. The generally straight body portions are connected by an extension piece (116 or 240) that extends generally from one generally straight body portion to the other generally straight body portion. The extension piece (116) may extend around a 180 ° curve that defines the curve of the catheter to be inserted into the clip, and a U-shaped channel (120) extends through the first and second generally straight body portions and the extension piece; the clip is installed onto a catheter (SO) so that the catheter lies in the U-shaped channel and is retained therein by two or three retention sections or locking clasps (130). Abstract: A needle assembly having a hollow needle with a pointed distal end and a proximal end is disclosed. The assembly also includes a needle hub having a distal hub end fixedly connected to the needle, a proximal hub end having an opening, and a passageway extending therethrough between the distal end and the proximal end.
