Abstract:
Abstract:
A method to stack palletless and as to their size variable packages (1) on warehouse rack (15) and to retrieve them from said rack and to control the logistics of packages, in which method the said warehouse rack is furnished with an automatic packages stacking and retrieving robot, and in the method the control of warehouse data and logistics takes place by means of a data system. Equipment (5) included in the method receives package (1), for instance, onto conveyor belt (2), equipment (5) carries out weighing of package (1), determination for it necessary space requirement, reading of remote code connected to package (1), as RFID code (20) in order to choose the rack space determined for it on basis of previous functions, and package (1) is retrieved from the rack steered either by the order of the user or of the data system, and the data from above mentioned stacking and retrieving functions are transmitted to the data system.
Abstract:
A warehousing system includes a container (e.g., tote) for storing at least one item of merchandise, a first electronic (e.g., radio frequency identification (RFID) module associated with the first container, and a controller which wirelessly communicates with first electronic module, for directing a transfer of said at least one item of merchandise to and/or from said first container. The inventive system may include, for example, a hybrid retail/warehouse system which includes a facility having a shelving area, and a picking area adjacent to the shelving area, and a layout so as to minimize a picking area and a walking distance between a picking area and a shelving area.
Abstract:
The invention is a warehouse (1) for the storage of objects (O), comprising a plurality of structures suitable for containing objects, wherein each one of said objects is provided with a transponder device (T). The warehouse comprises monitoring means (10) for the objects, contituted by at least one enquiry unit (11) of the transponders (T) associated to each one of the containing structures (2) operatively connected to data processing means (12) suitable for exchanging data with the enquiry means (11).
Abstract:
Method for storage handling of stackable storage objects (1), where the storage objects are supplied to a store in an arrival stack (2); the storage objects are stored in at least three storage stacks (3); the storage objects (1) are moved between the said arrival stack (2) and the storage stacks (3) by means of a collector (5) provided with means (9) for securing and releasing the storage objects; a control unit (10) provided with a processor controls the movements of the collector (5) via a communications link (14) and in accordance with instructions from a user, which instructions are input to the control unit (10) via a user interface (12, 13) coupled thereto; upon arrival of storage objects in the said arrival stack (2), the control unit (10) is fed with information on the individual identity of each storage object, its type and its position in the arrival stack (2); the said instructions include withdrawal orders which are arranged in a withdrawal list in the control unit (10) in the desired sequence, each withdrawal order concerning a storage object of a certain type. The invention is characterized in particular by the fact that the method takes place in three main stages, namely marking, withdrawal and sorting.
