    Abstract: An engine cooling device of construction machinery, comprising a shroud rear part (10b) supported on an engine (8) side and incorporating a cooling fan (11), a shroud front part (10a) supported on a heat exchanger (9) side and leading cooling air (P) into the shroud rear part (10b), and a sealing member (43) sealing them while allowing for the relative displacement therebetween, wherein an inner diameter (Da) of a shroud front part downstream side end part (10a1) is made larger than an outer diameter (Db) of a shroud rear part upstream side end part (10b1) and the shroud front part downstream side end part (10a1) is generally placed at the same position horizontally as the shroud rear part upstream side end part (10b1), whereby an installation space in an engine room (4) can be reduced to allow the engine cooling device to be applied to small construction machinery and also a fan efficiency can be increased.

    Abstract: An engine cooling apparatus which comprises an intercooler (3) for precooling a combustion air for an engine (1), an oil cooler (4) for cooling a working oil for a hydraulic excavator, a radiator (5) for cooling a cooling water for the engine (1), a cooling fan (17) which is a centrifugal fan, and a suction pipe (19) for directing a cooling air toward a suction side of the cooling fan (17). A bore (D1) at a downstream end (19A) of the suction pipe is smaller than a bore (D2) at a suction side end (18A) of a rotating shroud so that the downstream end (19A) of the suction pipe is disposed to enter inside the suction side end (18A) of the rotating shroud. Accordingly, noises are further reduced and an engine room (2) is made compact.
